Hotel Pulitzer Barcelona
About
We love it!
Hard to be more centric, two steps from the Ramblas and the Plaça de Catalunya. 91 rooms decorated by Lazaro Rosa, all black and white, marble and leather with sophisticated lightning. Not very large but well distributed. We appreciate this hotel for the atmosphere: à la mode bar, meeting site for locals on Wednesday and Saturday nights, and during summer time the “Bar du Ciel” (Heaven’s bar) animated by local DJ’s to profit of a magnificent view of Barcelona. We love it!

I can't recommend this place enough. It's now my favorite hotel in Europe and I'll be sure to stay in other locations whenever I'm traveling in the future. It's a great boutique hotel with full service in an amazing location. The street is quiet and there's a taxi stand right across from the building. Just a block away is a bustling square with plenty to do, including hop on/hop off and nearby shopping and great restaurants. Our three rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. The staff was welcoming and attentive. We had brunch in the hotel's restaurant and bar, which had delicious food. In the area there's a good selection of restaurants as well. Across the square is the best gelato I have ever had (even better than the ones in Italy!). La Sagrada Familia is a bit of a walk, but it's doable. You won't regret staying here!
We opted to stop by this small place for some drinks and a bit of entertainment. The live band was fantastic and the cocktails were excellent. Despite the small space, the atmosphere was pleasant and enjoyable. A few of our group ordered food and they said it was quite delicious. Highly recommend!
Where to start, from the staff to the turquoise bathrooms you will not be disappointed. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant, helpful, and seemed genuinely happy to be there, creating a boutique hotel experience and helping guests enjoy their stays. The atmosphere was amazing, from the lobby to the breakfast area, one could forget they were in a bustling city - reminding them of a modern tropical oasis with greenery and working wifi! Our first few nights were in a standard room, but it was immaculately clean with comfortable, fresh bedding. The decorations and overall style of the room made us feel inspired, as if we could sketch the next Picasso artwork. At the tail end of our trip, we stayed in a Signature Terrace Room, which was a great choice providing a much needed escape from the city. We were able to retreat to the terrace to rest and energize before heading back out for the day. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and can't wait to explore the other locations of this wonderful hotel chain and one day return to Barcelona.
My partner and I had a truly memorable experience during our two stays in this Barcelona accommodation. In 2019, we were welcomed into one of the smaller rooms that offered comfort and convenience. This summer, we were invited to stay in a stunning terrace suite. Our room was clean and had been laid out with care, and the terrace boasted two sun beds, an outdoor shower and retractable shades. We were enchanted with the bathroom that featured a rainfall shower and bathtub, as well as a separate toilet. After such a wonderful stay, I was certainly not eager to leave! I was equally as pleased with the room's lack of noise, the comfortable bed and the fluffy pillows. The only constructive feedback I have, from both visits, is that the breakfast buffet could do with more options. Fortunately, the hotel is excellently positioned close to the Ramblas, the gothic quarter and eixample, so there are plenty of places to enjoy tasty meals not far from its doors. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here and would happily come back.
