We love it!

Hard to be more centric, two steps from the Ramblas and the Plaça de Catalunya. 91 rooms decorated by Lazaro Rosa, all black and white, marble and leather with sophisticated lightning. Not very large but well distributed. We appreciate this hotel for the atmosphere: à la mode bar, meeting site for locals on Wednesday and Saturday nights, and during summer time the “Bar du Ciel” (Heaven’s bar) animated by local DJ’s to profit of a magnificent view of Barcelona. We love it!

We had an excellent time at this hotel. We enjoyed the hospitality, ambience, and amenities of the place, especially the rooftop bar which featured great music and drinks. The room was awesome and we were treated with a free brownie to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The food was good, though not extraordinary, but we were only able to sample a few tapas dishes. All in all, we had an incredible experience.

A Friday night spent at one of the most popular venues in Barcelona ? was truly a memorable experience! The rooftop terrace served delicious drinks ?, and the atmosphere was amazing ?, with a great DJ ? and stunning views ?. The Placa Catalunya was conveniently close by, and the whole hotel area looked really nice ?. Without a doubt, we will be returning for another visit soon ?!

We booked direct with the accommodation due to their 'promised' benefits: free room upgrade, 10% bar discount etc. Unfortunately, none of these were available - we were even told that bar discount did not apply to the hotel bar on the rooftop! The breakfast situation was disastrous; hot food was placed on a broken hot plate, making the food lukewarm. This issue was not solved for the duration of our stay. After much discussion, we were refunded for one breakfast, but still had to pay €16 for the other three. In our hotel room, we had a machine that needed nespresso coffee pods - however, to our surprise, each pod costed €1.50. We were only given four complimentary pods for our entire stay! Receptionist Juan told us he did not know any contact details for the hotel owner and that we would need to contact them through reception. Overall, the staff (apart from two managers) were quite rude and dismissive and the level of hospitality did not live up to our expectations. As we stayed in a group of 8, we spent a considerable amount of money - however, next time, we would look elsewhere for alternative accommodation.

This accommodation was the perfect choice for me! The friendly staff and modern rooms made for a great stay. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed. The receptionist, Alba, was incredibly attentive to my needs after a long journey. I was even treated to a free welcome drink at the lobby bar! The furnishings in the rooms were stylish and comfortable. The luxurious bathtub was a nice bonus after a long day of sightseeing! I could not be happier with my choice of lodging.

I'm a tour operator and recently brought 18 people to a hotel in Barcelona. This was my third time staying here and I can certainly say that the staff exceeded expectations. From the moment I made the reservation, Pau from the reservations department went out of his way to ensure that we felt welcome and taken care of. He not only gave us great tips and advice, but even made a reservation for the rooftop bar for dinner. The rooms were lovely and far roomier than most European hotels. All of the decor is stunning. I'm so glad I chose to stay here and definitely wouldn't go anywhere else in Barcelona! Thank you Pau and everyone else at this wonderful hotel.
