Located in a prime location for all the popular attractions, this hotel was incredibly functional. The rooftop breakfast area, though charming, offered a limited selection. The staff was extremely helpful, providing swipe cards for early check-in. However, I must warn that the street to the right of the front door should be approached with caution at night. During our four-night stay, we witnessed two robberies of elderly individuals on this street after dark.
My friends and I recently spent a few days in Barcelona and stayed at an adults-only hotel. Despite being in a lively area, the hotel was surprisingly quiet. The highlight of our stay was definitely the incredible roof terrace. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly, making our experience even better. The location was perfect, right on the edge of the gothic quarter which allowed us to easily explore the city on foot. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this hotel to others visiting Barcelona.
? My husband and I had such a pleasant experience at Hotel Rec Barcelona - Adults Only. From the moment we checked in with the lovely Lidia, we received fantastic customer service. She gave us great recommendations for places to eat and visit, and always had a smile on her face. The hotel itself was amazing - our room had a cool hipster/loft vibe and was impeccably clean. We loved starting our day with breakfast on the rooftop with a view. Can't wait to come back next year! ?

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Barcelona! The location was perfect for exploring all the different districts. The staff ? were exceptional and the rooms were spacious and comfy. The blackout curtains were a blessing for a peaceful sleep. ?️ The breakfast and bar area by the pool was ? and the rooftop was a great spot to unwind and soak up the ☀️. The team upstairs and at reception were simply brilliant! ?
We ❤️ Hotel REC during our Spain trip! The beds were ?, rooms spotless, and ? were undisturbed. We chose a terrace room for our finale and loved sipping drinks outside after a day of exploring. Definitely ? for another stay!
