The hotel is definitely worth the price, as it is conveniently located near a metro station and a 10-minute stroll from Plaça de Catalunya. The rooms are tidy, albeit small in size. However, it should be noted that there is a tendency for a lot of noise from the street outside, which is common in Barcelona. Additionally, the heavy use of chlorine for cleaning may not be suitable for some guests.
The hotel's location was perfect and the front desk staff were excellent. Our room was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were always willing to help with anything we needed. I would highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Barcelona. I reached out via email before our arrival to request some additional items and was not disappointed. They even had our room ready ahead of schedule, which was a pleasant surprise. Thank you to the staff for their hospitality.
The location of this hotel is ideal as everything is within a 20-30 minute bus ride, which we found to be convenient during our stay. The breakfast offered is delicious and the staff are incredibly friendly. The rooftop views are also stunning. We decided to upgrade to a superior room and it was well worth it as it was very spacious. The only downside was that our room was located above the main entrance, so we could hear some noise from doors opening and closing at night. However, I would definitely choose to stay here again.
The hotel's location was perfect for exploring Barcelona. It was within walking distance of the arc de triomf, the city center, and the beach. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly, particularly Meena at the front desk. She made our stay in Barcelona amazing and recommended a fantastic restaurant with the most delicious paella. The rooms were also very clean and the cleaning staff were always attentive to our needs. We were welcomed warmly by the hotel and its team and would definitely return next year. Thank you for everything, we loved our stay!
I had such an incredible experience at the Hotel Rec Barcelona - Adults Only. The location was perfect for exploring the charming surrounding neighborhoods. Nestled between a bustling main street and the quaint narrow streets of the neighborhood, it was the perfect balance of city life and local culture. The conveniently close transit and iconic Arc were just a short walk away, making it easy to access all the must-see attractions. The hotel itself was top-notch, with a friendly and accommodating staff. My room was comfortable and had all the amenities I needed. And let's not forget about the rooftop pool and patio, which provided stunning views and a refreshing escape from the heat. I couldn't have asked for a better stay.
