I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Serhs Rivoli Rambla in Barcelona and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel's location was a major highlight, as it was conveniently situated near the Metro and within walking distance of the Gothic Quarter. This area was filled with charming restaurants and plenty of sights to see.
Initially, we were assigned a room facing La Rambla St. However, the noise from the street was quite disruptive. Thankfully, the staff at the front desk were extremely accommodating and helped us move to a quieter room at the back of the hotel. I must give a special mention to Juan and Augusti, who went above and beyond to assist us with online bookings and made sure our visit was smooth and enjoyable.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Hotel Serhs Rivoli Rambla to anyone planning a trip to Barcelona. The central location, excellent staff, and comfortable rooms make it the perfect choice for a stay in this vibrant city. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay a memorable one.

My experience in this hotel could not have been better! ? Despite being located right on La Rambla, the room (#102) was nice and quiet. ? Taxis were available directly outside, with a money exchange and a small supermarket just across the street. ? Comforting police presence on the Boulevard made me feel safe the entire time. ? There were plenty of restaurants and shops, although those looking for something less touristy are better off elsewhere. ? The Catalunya train station was just a block away. ? From there, it was a 15 minute stroll to the port and Christopher Columbus statue, allowing for some port cruises if desired. ? I recommend booking a room with a balcony - mine was small but I still made use of it every morning. ? The two-room suite was very clean, with a day bed in the living area and a place to use your computer. ☕️ There was also a small tea kettle and a variety of tea bags, a mini refrigerator full of for-purchase beverages and a safe in the closet. ? The staff members were all extremely helpful and kind. ? Breakfast was available for a fee, while lunch in the hotel restaurant was amazing. ? On the rooftop there was a casual spot for drinks and light snacks, with a stunning view. ? Taking a taxi to and from the airport was easy, although I would recommend getting a receipt just in case. ? I also booked two tours with Tripadvisor, which were both on-time and informative. ?️ All in all it was a wonderful experience - just remember to check the taxi rate beforehand! ?
Here are the pros and cons of this place. A friend and I stayed for a week. Pros: - The location. It was very easy to get anywhere in Barcelona from this spot which was right near Placa de Catalunya, the central point of almost all transportation, including the Aerobus to and from the airport. - The hotel staff. Very friendly. The bartender at their rooftop bar was especially great! - The hotel overall felt very clean, and the bar/restaurant/lobby were also very neat and aesthetically pleasing. Cons: - The location. This place was very central, but it was also loaded with people. I did not have any issues with pickpocketing, however La Rambla is known as the #1 spot for this to happen in Barcelona. This street is also not very attractive, which was a sacrifice worth making since it was so central. - Somewhat misleading. I booked this hotel through Priceline, and I had picked a room that showed a picture of two double beds in the room. When we arrived, there was only one double bed in an extremely tiny room. The fine print stated that the room would include either one double bed or two single beds, which was my mistake for not reading that. Also, the check-in time was 1 pm on our confirmation that was not honored even though I had contacted them about it beforehand. - The room itself. We had noticed a foul smell from our bathroom and eventually could hear sound of water coming up from the drain in the middle of the floor. There was no mistaking the smell of sewer water that was present throughout our stay. Additionally, the walls are VERY thin to the point where we could hear everything going on throughout the hotel (doors slamming, people down at the restaurant talking) that would wake us up in the middle of the night. I don't think that I would stay again if I were to go back to Barcelona, but for the purpose of sleeping and showering between exploring, it was fine.
This hotel in Barcelona was wonderful! The rooms were spacious, perfectly clean and in pristine condition. The staff were phenomenal and went above and beyond to take care of their guests. I strongly recommend staying here.
This accommodation was perfectly located in the heart of La Rambla. The premises were clean and the staff were friendly and could understand English. The room was on the smaller side, but it was neat and orderly. Unfortunately, the TV only had channels in a language other than English. If you're looking for a short time stay, this is a great choice.
