Hotel Villa Emilia

Our recent stay in Barcelona was made all the more enjoyable thanks to the hotel we chose. This was actually our second time staying there and we were just as impressed as we were the first time. The service provided by the staff was truly exceptional and the food was absolutely delicious. The cherry on top was definitely the rooftop bar, offering stunning views and a great atmosphere. We wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the heart of Barcelona.

We are currently staying at this super cute boutique hotel which has restaurant/bar/rooftop terrace. Day 5 of 8 day stay! The staff is amazing! Celia, Claudia, and Josue at Reception have been so helpful during our trip to Barcelona! They are friendly and professional. We opted for the breakfast included option and it has been wonderful! There is a good assortment of cold buffet items, oatmeal, eggs to order, cava and fresh juices. Coffee is fantastic! Breakfast service by Emilio has been provided with great kindness and efficiency, and we were introduced to Alex today who is also exhibiting the courteous and professional efforts of this hotel's family! Our room is accommodating 3 of us with 3 twin beds. Room is comfortable size, well appointed, and clean and quiet. AC works well! In the evenings we have enjoyed tapas and drinks on the terrace, with live music Friday! Food is good, service is good! The neighborhood surrounding the hotel is nice and it is convenient to everything! There's even a little shop around the corner if you need snacks/drinks. It's about 35 euro in cab from airport, and 10 Euro to center of city near las ramblas and the gothic quarter. Car rental is 2 blocks away (sixt) and we utilized for day trip to Montserrat. If you are considering a stay in Barcelona, this hotel will provide everything you need for a wonderful experience! Thank you!

I had a reservation at this place, but due to the COVID situation, my family and I would still be infected when it was time to check in. Despite having booked a non-refundable rate, the desk manager denied us a refund. Instead, they suggested that we give the room to a friend! So, we're still going to check in and hope that their protocol for COVID 19 will protect everyone else.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Barcelona for three nights with my wife, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff member who assisted us was very polite and welcoming. One of the best things about this place is its fantastic location, which is ideal for exploring the vibrant local neighborhood. There are plenty of cool bars, cafes, and tapas spots nearby, offering a wide range of dining and entertainment options. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from the Metro station, making it easy to navigate the city and visit other attractions. However, there were a few downsides to our stay. Firstly, the bed in our room was quite hard, which made it slightly uncomfortable for sleeping. Additionally, the shower design was problematic, as it was open and lacked a closing door. This resulted in water flooding the bathroom floor, which was inconvenient. Furthermore, the toilet flush was exceptionally loud, which could be bothersome for light sleepers or those seeking a quieter environment. On the positive side, the hotel room amenities were great. We had access to a safe and a well-stocked mini-bar. The room also had a TV, an armchair, and a dressing table, providing convenience and comfort during our stay. This hotel features a trendy bar on the ground floor, which has a cool atmosphere. However, it is worth noting that the prices there are a little on the higher side. Additionally, there is a rooftop bar that we had planned to visit for live music, but unfortunately, due to rain, the event was moved to the downstairs bar. Although we didn't get to experience the rooftop bar firsthand, it is a nice feature to have. During our stay, the hotel staff were helpful in arranging transportation for us. They ordered a taxi to the airport, which cost us 35 EUR. This service made our departure convenient and hassle-free. Considering all aspects, this hotel is reasonably priced and offers good value for money. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the firm bed, open shower, and loud toilet flush, this place provides a pleasant stay overall. I would recommend it to others who are looking for a well-located and reasonably priced option in Barcelona.

This hotel was incredibly clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and they allowed us to check-in early due to our early flight. The air conditioning was top-notch and the WiFi was quick and efficient. Although we didn't eat in the restaurant, we did go to the roof terrace which was pleasant, though a bit pricey. It is a 30-minute walk to all the tourist attractions, so make sure you bring a pair of comfortable shoes. We highly recommend staying at this hotel.
