Hotel Villa Emilia

This gorgeously designed, elegant and super clean hotel was a joy to stay in. The front desk staff were fabulously helpful and attentive, while the daily breakfast was incredible and fresh. With tasty coffee, quality teas and delicious bread and Manchego cheese, there was something to please both veggie and meat-lovers alike. The wait staff also did an excellent job of keeping everything in order. The room itself was a simple yet artful affair, and the whole building surprisingly peaceful despite its urban location. With a train stop just a block away and a taxi service available, the hotel is very accessible. Unfortunately, during the San Joan holiday we didn't manage to dine at the rooftop terrace as we hadn't been informed that reservations were necessary - luckily Dimitri from the front desk was able to recommend an alternative: a mall rooftop with spectacular views of the city full of fireworks. All in all, it was an immensely enjoyable stay, and one I'd highly recommend.

Lovely boutique hotel with easy accessibility to Barcelona's sightseeing spots and to the subway. The helpful front desk staff was willing and able to assist. The room was perfect for three women traveling together and the beds were comfortable. We ended up changing our accommodation for our last night in the city to this one because we felt that cozy. There were plenty of nice coffee shops near the hotel, but all the stores seemed to be closed most of the time. There was also a nice rooftop bar area for relaxation and a library with card games and a printer for boarding passes.

This hotel's location is perfect - a short walk to the metro and a nearby mall. There's a rooftop bar with happy hour every day, and the rooms are clean and modern. We had a wonderful experience here and were pleasantly surprised at how peaceful it was despite being in a busy area. Highly recommend!

This little hotel was a truly excellent find. It was tucked away in a peaceful location yet close to the hustle and bustle of the city. The team at the hotel were fantastic, going above and beyond to help. Inside, it was a charming scene with pleasant fragrances, lovely candles and subtle luxury. We had the pleasure of dining there one night and the food was scrumptious. My only small criticism was that the bed was a bit too firm to my liking, but that is of course subjective.

We had a great stay at the Hotel Villa Emilia- the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the hotel itself was beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable! The rooms were quiet and luxurious, allowing us to have the restful sleep that we needed. The breakfast was lovely and served with a smile by helpful staff that made our morning that much better. We would highly recommend this hotel and are already planning our return next year!
