The hotel is conveniently situated near the Aerobus stop and in a peaceful residential area, ensuring a tranquil night's sleep. It's just a short walk to the subway and a pleasant stroll to popular tourist spots. The highlight of our stay was the rooftop bar, offering a great spot to unwind. The breakfast had a good variety and the staff members were exceptional. Our room was impeccably clean. There are also plenty of dining options in close proximity. We have stayed here twice now and our experience was just as wonderful as the first time.
?The service at this hotel was ?- all my inquiries were answered promptly and reception was always available for anything I needed during my stay. The room was ?- comfortable, perfectly lit for relaxation, and had a spacious bathroom (which I really appreciate). It was also well-equipped with everything a hotel room should have. The hotel itself had a cozy and inviting design and layout. ?The location was ?- we could easily walk to popular attractions like Plaça d'Espanya, La Rambla, and Plaça de Catalunya within 20-25 minutes. It only took us 20 minutes by car to get to the airport and 10 minutes to Barcelona Sants train station. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to book again if I ever find myself in Barcelona! Thank you for a lovely 3-day stay.
Our recent 4-day stay at this hotel was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the receptionist who was not only friendly but also fluent in English. The hotel itself is modern and well-equipped, with accessible elevators on every floor. Our spacious room had all the necessary amenities and was extremely comfortable. Despite its central location, the hotel was surprisingly quiet. We enjoyed a short stroll to the main squares, but for those who prefer public transportation, the Metro is conveniently close by. The bar and restaurant exceeded our expectations, with delicious tapas in the evening and a great breakfast spread every morning. As my wife required a mobility scooter, the hotel was more than accommodating in providing secure storage and charging facilities. If we ever find ourselves in Barcelona again, we would not hesitate to choose this hotel for our stay.
Booking a stay at the Hotel Villa Emilia in Barcelona was a decision I greatly regret. There were three main issues that made my stay unpleasant. Firstly, the bed was small and unbelievably hard, feeling more like a rock than a place to rest. Secondly, the Wifi setup was incredibly unreliable, with a bizarre routing system that offered no increase in security and tied all passwords to the room number. Lastly, there was no coffee or tea setup in the room and no availability in the lobby either. These are basic amenities that I expect from any standard hotel, let alone one that boasts a four-star rating. This hotel fails so miserably in providing them that I find it hard to believe the positive reviews are genuine. Despite the supposedly stylish interior shown in online photos, the reality is quite different. The hallways had a strong musty smell and the overall feel was more of a rundown 70's motel than a modern hotel.
Situated conveniently near a metro station yet tucked away in a peaceful area, this hotel boasts a helpful and welcoming staff. The room was cozy and the bathroom was well-equipped. However, it would have been perfect if tea and coffee facilities were provided in the room. Surprisingly, there was no coffee available at the rooftop restaurant. The breakfast was overpriced at 17 euros in comparison to a 2-course lunch for only 19 euros. Perhaps offering a more affordable option such as tea, coffee, and fresh pastries, which we found nearby for just 2 euros, would be a great idea.
