This was our first experience staying at this particular hotel brand and we were initially drawn to it because of the flexible check-in and check-out times. However, we were left disappointed as we didn't feel like we got our money's worth. We had to request basic bathroom amenities like cotton buds and a shower cap, and there was no Nespresso machine in the room. The only way to mirror the TV was with an android phone and there were no slippers or bathrobes provided. Despite paying for a room with a bathtub, we encountered a draining issue that was not resolved despite bringing it to the hotel's attention. In the future, we will stick with our preferred hotel brands and simply pay the extra fee for a late check-out. While the hotel may be conveniently located in front of a metro station and a shopping center, it was a bit of a trek to reach the main tourist area. On the plus side, the neighborhood was quiet at night. Overall, while we acknowledge that there are loyal patrons of this brand, it just didn't feel like the right fit for us.
During my stay in Barcelona, I was drawn to the beautiful design of the hotel I chose. However, I was extremely disappointed by the non-existent service. The only staff members who spoke English were at the reception. In fact, I encountered a complete language barrier at the bar and restaurant - no one spoke English, not even the basics. It took an incredibly long time to receive any services or food. In fact, I had to wait over an hour for breakfast. Furthermore, the only option for dining was to wait and order from the non-English speaking staff, as there was no buffet available. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences of my life.
The service at this hotel was truly disappointing. The staff showed little regard for our needs or requests. I will not be returning here. Additionally, the restaurant had a limited menu. The receptionist did not inform us that we needed to specifically request room cleaning, resulting in our room not being prepared upon our return.
The hotel we stayed at was absolutely wonderful. The location was perfect for our needs, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the overall atmosphere and design of the hotel were exceptional. Our room, a Roomy room, was a delightfully spacious room with a comfortable bed, lovely interior decor, and a generously sized shower. We thoroughly enjoyed the live music in the bar on Friday night, and the views were simply stunning. The service was friendly and accommodating, even when we requested cocktails that were not on the menu. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary late check-out, and when we arrived early to drop off our bags, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that our room was already available. This allowed us to freshen up and unpack before starting our exploration of Barcelona. I highly recommend this hotel.
During our stay in Barcelona, we had the pleasure of staying at a hotel in the Poblenou neighborhood. The room was incredibly comfortable and well-designed, making us feel right at home. The added touch of music playing throughout the hotel added to the enjoyable ambiance. We especially appreciated the friendly staff and the beautiful view from the terrace while enjoying our meals. Overall, this was the ideal place to stay and we would definitely choose to stay here again when we return to Barcelona.
