The security staff here are incredibly helpful and watchful with luggage. Its spot is truly unbeatable, being right on the Ramblas and close to wonderful eateries. The rooms, however, are quite miniscule and the additional bed is both costly and uncomfortable. The bathroom was impressive! Breakfast was good with amazing service. I was not pleased about the amount of extra taxes not mentioned in the initial quote for the reservation. Nevertheless, the service and location are exceptional.
The rooms at the Le Meridien Barcelona are quite modest and quite noisy ??♀️, especially during a sports event. On our first night, there were fireworks ? going off until 1:07 am! Despite this, the restaurant ? is wonderful. The omelet chef in the morning is a master chef ? and the breakfast selections were plentiful ?. We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel; the salmon main was simply delicious! ?
This place was situated in the ideal spot to take a stroll around the lively cafes, stores and admire the city. The eatery was especially renowned and their team was quite helpful. After flying in early, I was able to check-in early due to being a lifetime Bonvoy member and this was really appreciated. The only reason I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars is that the rooms weren't particularly noteworthy and the air conditioner failed to make the room cool enough.
This hotel had a great feel to it! The rooms were neat and spacious, and so quiet that we got great sleep. The restaurant was also fantastic, with warm and friendly staff quickly attending to our needs. Overall, it was a very positive experience. Plus, we had easy access to taxi services.
The location of this accommodation was simply wonderful! Being able to stroll to all of the must-see sights as well as the waterfront was an incredible experience. The rooms were comfortable and provided ample fresh water. The water pressure was exceptional and the water was always hot. Not only was the room cleaned daily, but we were pleasantly surprised to be able to check-in a little earlier than the usual check-in time after our lengthy journey. To top it all off, the breakfast buffet was amazing and we were very pleased with our dinner in the hotel restaurant. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation!
