We have just returned from a lovely stay at the hotel. Emma checked us in the special check in and was incredibly friendly and attentive. We had a family room with a comfortable double bed, a twin room and two bathrooms which were nicely decorated and clean. We loved the city view from the room. The level lounge was great, offering small sandwiches, cakes, snacks and drinks (including cava and beers) throughout the day. Furthermore, we took advantage of the drinks and canapés served between 6-7.30pm, and the views were amazing. We opted not to pay for breakfast as we felt it was quite pricey. The pool area was small, but still provided a nice spot to relax. There is a tram stop a few minutes away, and the beach is about 20 minutes away. There are also lots of local bars and restaurants and a nearby shopping centre. We had a really great stay, and would highly recommend this hotel. Many thanks to all the staff at the hotel for making this a great city break.
we would definitely stay here again.
Having stayed at the Melîa Sevilla before, we decided to similarly give the Melîa Barcelona Sky a try on our trip to the Catalan city. Situated in a 31 storey building in the Poblenou district, the hotel was perfectly placed between the busy downtown area and the beautiful beach. The nearby Rambla de Poblenou had a real village feel and had some great bars and restaurants.
Reception was on the 25th floor and was a smooth check-in. Our room on the 23rd floor had stunning views of the city and the sea and was very comfortable, albeit a little too minimalist for us. It was equipped with modern amenities however.
What made our stay wonderful was the fantastic staff. Everyone was extremely helpful and pleasant. Located on the 25th floor, the Level lounge was great, offering snacks and drinks all day. There was also a buffet of appetisers and drinks from 18.00 to 19.30 in the Level 24 Skyline lounge, with the added bonus of picturesque views. Ezequiel was particularly fantastic in this area.
Breakfast was also served in the Skyline24 and was really good. Our check-out was efficient and unhurried, and we even got a complimentary late check-out.
All in all, this was a very well-run hotel with delightful staff who did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again.
I had the great pleasure of staying at this hotel with my husband and toddler for a couple of nights before embarking on a cruise. The hotel was situated away from the most frenetic areas of the city, but still within reach of a great selection of shops and restaurants. The rooms were comfortable and the service was excellent. Staff paid a lot of attention to our two-year-old, making sure he felt welcome. I was particularly impressed when it came to catering for our little one's allergies: wheat and dairy, to name but a few. Anxiety and stress often hit high levels when travelling abroad with a child affected by multiple allergies, but the staff made sure to show me what items in the buffet were safe for him. We were blown away by the level of preparedness of the hotel's restaurant and its staff and I would without any doubt recommend it to any allergy sufferer. Thank you so much!
This hotel was fantastic! The staff were absolutely outstanding, especially the receptionist Emma, who was so friendly and helpful. The views from the upper floors are simply breathtaking. There are many nearby eateries that provide great value. The location is just far enough away from the more touristy areas, but there are still metro and tram stops nearby, and even a taxi rank right outside. I would love to stay again!
I had a wonderful experience at the Level at Melia Barcelona Sky! Located in a peaceful, secure neighbourhood, it's still just a ten-minute walk away from the beach. The view of the sea and city from my room was breathtaking. Breakfast on their 24th floor was delicious, and the reception staff, namely Pablo and Lucia, were so friendly and willing to help. I would certainly recommend this place and hope to come back soon!
