This place was incredible! The service, food, and atmosphere were all top-notch. I'd highly recommend it to anyone coming to Barcelona in the near future. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi connection wasn't the best.
Our time here was wonderful. The staff were incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was luxurious yet relaxed. There was a great dinner and breakfast through the attached restaurant and a beautiful garden courtyard. We have stayed at a few 5-star hotels in Barcelona now, and this one definitely takes the cake!
ME Barcelona was the highlight of our time in Barcelona!
Everyone at the hotel was incredible and helpful. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly Gonzalo who was eager to help us with our luggage to our room. Our stay was enjoyable and the staff was always ready to assist us with any request. This hotel was the best part of our time spent in Barcelona!
This hotel is a luxurious stay in Barcelona's lively city center. It offers high quality amenities such as its Belbo Collection F&B concept, Rooftop Pool & Bar, Gym & SPA, and stunning views of Placa Cataluna Barcelona.
Stayed here 5 nights in September - great location, just off the Passeig De Graccia. Overall, a very good hotel with good quality, very clean and high quality ingredients used for breakfast and their drinks (no lunch or dinner). It is a very modern hotel, so don't expect classical rooms - modern and expressive for sure.
The Good: Excellent rooms - super modern, very clean, lovely large beds with all the amenities. Shower good, powerful - no need to bring any stuff from home. Cleaners are good (not amazing). Lovely bell hops - friendly gentleman always asking how we are. Used the direct website and got a 100 euros credit on drinks and food - lovely surprise. The rooftop bar and pool are a highlight of the hotel, with excellent service and drinks.
The Bad: The building, the amenities, the rooms and all in the innards are 5 star, the BIG area that is lacking is the customer service you would expect at a true 5 star hotel. Check out consisted of no asking how our stay was, handing us the wrong bill amount and saying "goodbye." The younger girl was however brilliant. Breakfast needs improving. When I wanted a coffee the lady said the "you need to go to the machine" one of the mornings. Cleaners forgot to add coffee pods each day and often did not restock the creamer milk for my partner. I had a massage - very good when in the room but the lady was quite rude.
You can see the recurring theme - this place is set up to be a huge success but it's missing the number one component you look for - customer service that goes beyond the basics - you would get this in a 3 star hotel. When you are paying over 2,000 pounds for 5 nights you expect more. For that reason I rate it 3/5 and would not stay here again. Ideally, we wanted to stay at another hotel but it was booked up, maybe next time. We stayed in room 612.
