ME Barcelona

We recently visited a fantastic hotel in Barcelona as a family and had an amazing experience. The ?were extremely spacious - we stayed in a?ME suite and it was really great! All of the staff were so warm and welcoming,?even when we had multiple rooms and brought kids along with us. They were so helpful in assisting us with our luggage, making reservations and booking tours. We would definitely be staying here?next time we come to Barcelona!

We were welcomed by the hotel doorman with a drink and checked in at the desk. We had expected an early check in (as part of the special package) but our room was not ready. Furthermore, the “in room check in” advertised was not available. We returned three hours later to find the confused staff who were unable to locate our luggage. The room was surprisingly clean and well presented, with the roof top pool/bar offering a view of Sagarada Familiar, although there were not enough sun loungers. Our special room with a view of Plaza Cataluna could not be seen due to the trees blocking it. Breakfast included was continental, but the “hot” buffet was cold and the waiter was unprofessional. Although the concierge was friendly and helpful and the Aura team easily contactable, late check out was subject to availability and our other package offers were not easy to arrange. The location was very good, with many interesting sights and access to transport. We are unsure if we would stay in a hotel of this kind again as the special offers were not satisfactory.

We had a very pleasant 2-night stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely welcoming and went that extra mile to make sure we had a great experience. The hotel itself is beautiful. The quality of food and drinks is exceptional and the location is perfect. Moreover, their customer service was absolutely outstanding. Upon check in, the team worked quickly to have the room ready within moments of us arriving, even though we were 3-4 hours early. One evening, the concierge even ran down the street to hail a taxi for us since we needed one quickly. The rooftop pool and bar was the highlight of our stay, with Oriol providing an impeccable level of service. We were looking for a luxurious hotel experience with convenience and this may just be the one we return to. Many thanks for having us. Kind Regards.....

The front desk staff were amazing— they really went out of their way to help us out when I left my phone in a cab. The city itself was full of life and we had a great time exploring. Unfortunately, we had a bit of a sour note while staying; I know for a fact I left 2, 50 euro notes in the front of my case before we left and when we got back, one of them had disappeared. It was too hard to prove so we chose to just move on. Disappointing.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. From the second we arrived until the second we left, we were treated like royalty. They took our luggage and gave us cold water and cava upon arrival. Despite arriving early, we were given somewhere to change. We were then given a tour of the facilities and the room was perfect and spotlessly clean. On a daily basis, turn down service was done with chocolates left on the pillows. Moreover, reception staff and the concierge were always happy to help with anything we needed. Everyone had a smile and were incredibly friendly. A special mention to Jorge and Jerson at the bar for their amazing hospitality and absolutely delicious cocktails. All in all, it was a wonderful stay and I highly recommend it to everyone.
