This hotel's reception, staff, restaurants, spa and concierge staff were all superb, with a rating of 10/10. Unfortunately, the housekeeping was a bit of a letdown, scoring 4/10. Amenities were not filled on a regular basis, and cleaning was often late despite being asked for.

What a classy hotel! From the time we pulled up, the attentiveness and eagerness of the Bell Boys and Receptionist were evident. We felt very welcomed! And the rooms (we had two connecting rooms) did not disappoint. Spacious, very clean and quiet, with working A/C, safety box for our valuables, even an electrical adapter, plenty of drinking water, well-stocked mini bar, and chocolate in the evening – attention to detail for all our needs is an understatement. We opted out of a discounted breakfast plan, as we wanted to sample the local cuisine and not wake up early for breakfast. The Concierge was a great help with all our tour needs; he was personable, informative, kind, and patient. He obtained all our tickets for events and made reservations for us. "Jonathan" was really the man! Our first stay at a Melia Chain Hotel was a great experience and certainly won't be the last! Thanks.

Overall, this is a great smaller hotel with an amazing location. It is right by las ramblas, yet several blocks away, making it in a safe neighborhood with plenty of restaurants, shops, and popular sites nearby. The hotel itself was tidy and pleasant, whilst the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a decent selection, although we'd have appreciated some vegan-friendly dishes. All in all, we'd definitely stay here again and the bartenders and check-in desk staff were fantastic.

Staying at this hotel near Plaça de Catalunya was absolutely amazing! ?? It's just a 5-10 minute walk to the Gothic quarter and La Rambla, so you have an ideal location for exploring the city. ?️? The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and the rooms had a decent amount of space. Our superior room had 28m2! ? The breakfast could have been better, but the limited choices didn't really affect our stay. The real hero was Mr. Dante at the restaurant – he was amazing and really made a difference. ? If I ever needed to stay in Barcelona again, I would go back to this hotel without hesitation. ??

You instantly feel very welcomed when you arrive. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are brand new, very nice, roomy and clean. For the most part, this is a great place to stay. Unfortunately, the dinner at the onsite restaurant didn't live up to the same standards. Much of the menu was unavailable and service was slow, and the ice cream was basically just a soup by the time it reached our table. I'd still stay here again, but I'll be looking for a new restaurant to go to for dinner this time.
