Even when arriving late, I was delighted to find the option of brewing a delicious cup of coffee in my room. The breakfast spread was impressive, with a variety of food options, as well as fresh fruits and juices. Overall, my stay at NH Sants Barcelona was nothing short of fantastic.

This accommodation may not boast extravagant amenities or charm, and the cost of their underground parking can be exorbitant (though this seems to be the norm in Barcelona), but it efficiently fulfills its purpose. Situated in a prime location in the heart of the city, it is ideal for corporate travelers with its proximity to major transportation options. The rooms are tidy, well-appointed, and functional. I was fortunate enough to have a room on the sixth floor (number 607), providing me with minimal noise disturbance despite the hotel facing a busy main road (although the view was nothing to write home about). The breakfast buffet was more than satisfactory, with a good variety of options, unlike many other Spanish hotels. However, the real standouts were the front desk staff. They were exceptional; friendly, accommodating, and extremely helpful with any questions or concerns, including sorting out the parking situation. Their warm and cheery demeanors truly embody the standard of reception staff and are a credit to the establishment's brand. Without hesitation, I highly recommend this reasonably priced accommodation for a centrally located stay in Barcelona.

The service at this hotel was exceptional, located conveniently near Barca Estacion Sants. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a thoughtful gesture of water and local candies. The rooms were immaculate and provided a restful night's sleep with their comfortable bed and pillows. Thankfully, the rooms were equipped with air conditioning to combat the heat. We were pleased to have our request for a quiet room fulfilled. The hotel also offers a popular restaurant and fitness facilities. The communal areas were tastefully decorated and well-maintained, although in the heat of the summer, some air conditioning would have been appreciated. This hotel served as an excellent base for exploring Barca and the rest of Spain, as it is only a 5-minute walk from Sants station in a bustling residential area. Getting there from the airport on the Renfe train for just 5€ was a breeze. The staff were professional and friendly, with Cristina and Juan providing a warm welcome and proficient English at check-in and check-out, respectively. While observing the reception team, I noticed that many tourists were unhappy with having to pay tourist tax. This seemed to create a difficult situation for the staff, but it's important to remember that this tax helps fund important events and services to keep the city safe and well-maintained. It's only €4,50 per person per day and not included in the VAT tax on your bill. If you don't wish to pay it, you can always find accommodation elsewhere without a local tax, but there's no need to argue with the young staff who have no control over this policy.

The check-in process was incredibly welcoming and we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a larger and more comfortable room. Our dinner experience was equally outstanding with excellent service. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Barcelona.
