The hotel's location was ideal, with easy access to taxi, bus, and metro stations. It was also just a short walk to the city center. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, everything appeared to be new and had a modern feel. The breakfast selection was satisfying and the staff were very friendly. Additionally, there was a shopping center nearby. For those attending a match at the Olympic stadium, it is within walking distance from the hotel. Despite being a 3-star hotel, it felt more like a 4-star.

This hotel had a convenient location, just a short walk away from the Fountain and other amenities at Plaza Espanya. It was a suitable choice for our conference at Fira de Barcelona. However, the standard rooms were a bit on the smaller side and lacked a desk or table for working on a laptop.

During our visit to a conference at Fira, we had a pleasant and convenient stay at this hotel. It was conveniently located near the airport and within walking distance to Fira, making it easy to get around. Additionally, there were some great restaurants in the area. Overall, we would definitely suggest this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

I made my reservation through the hotel's website, but unfortunately I had to make some changes which I eventually gave up on. Despite receiving reassurance through multiple emails, I was still required to make a phone call. However, each time I called, I was put on hold for an extended period of time and ended up getting disconnected. As I was using my phone while roaming, I decided to give up. It seems that their online and physical booking departments are not in sync. Despite booking a premium room, I was disappointed by its small size, with only one chair and one shelf available for storage. This left very little floor space and there was no proper wardrobe or cupboard. The small desk was already occupied by a coffee machine, teabags, coffee pods, and cups and saucers, leaving no room to work. The bedside tables were simply floor stands, with one being taken up by the room phone. On the positive side, the hotel's location is very convenient, with easy access to the metro, bus stops, and airport bus.

My three-night stay at the Occidental Barcelona 1929 Hotel was absolutely delightful. The check-in process was quick and efficient, and I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness and sophistication of the room. Throughout my stay, the hotel maintained its impeccable appearance. The breakfast spread was fantastic and there was plenty to choose from, though I do have one small criticism - the cooked food could have been a bit hotter. Nonetheless, the staff were always available and ready to assist, making my experience even more enjoyable. The rooftop bar was particularly lovely, offering stunning views. The location of the hotel was ideal for accessing the metro and train to Montserrat, as well as being surrounded by numerous reasonably priced restaurants. Checking-out was just as swift as the check-in process. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and I was pleasantly surprised that it is only rated as a 3-star.
