The Occidental Barcelona 1929 was an excellent choice for our stay in Barcelona. Our room was huge, with a comfy king-sized bed. We were close to all the transport in the city, and perfectly located for the hop on hop off bus. The breakfast at this hotel was fantastic, with fresh pastries, cold juice and a great espresso machine. The front desk staff were fantastic; friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We were so impressed with all aspects of this hotel, and would definitely stay here again. Love this place!
The Occidental Barcelona 1929 was a nice stay in terms of atmosphere and service. The staff were courteous and professional while the location was convenient. However, the hotel was lacking in practical solutions. Where to place your belongings and the disconnection of wifi after five minutes were major issues. This is not ideal for tourists who want to stay connected when out and about. Although, despite these issues, our experience at the Occidental Barcelona 1929 was pleasant.
I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at Occidental Barcelona 1929. The service was friendly and efficient, and the hotel staff was eager to help us with whatever we needed. The facilities were modern and well-kept, with a great location near the beach. We felt very welcome and taken care of throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, with a wide selection of fresh fruits, pastries, and other delicious treats. It was the perfect end to a great stay at the Occidental Barcelona 1929!
