My recent stay at this hotel was nothing short of a nightmare. The security and response to a theft incident were absolutely appalling. Our belongings were stolen right in the reception area, which we had foolishly believed to be safe. The thief took advantage of the lax security measures within the premises. Despite catching the thief with the help of my husband, the hotel staff's apathetic attitude was deeply disheartening. They showed no empathy for our well-being or the violation we had endured. It was only when we demanded their assistance that they reluctantly contacted the police, and even then, their support was minimal. The language barrier compounded our distress, as no one from the hotel bothered to help us communicate with the authorities. The lack of security presence during the incident was shocking. Instead of offering help, the hotel staff seemed more interested in knowing our room number, further adding insult to injury. The fact that they expected us to pay an additional fee for a late check-out after such a traumatizing experience is beyond comprehension. This incident exposed a complete disregard for guest safety and a lack of proper security protocols. I strongly advise potential guests to reconsider staying at this hotel until significant improvements are made. This establishment needs to take immediate action, conduct a thorough investigation, and overhaul their security measures to ensure the safety and well-being of their guests. Such a horrifying experience should never be repeated, and it is the hotel's responsibility to make amends and provide a secure environment for their patrons.

This hotel has an excellent location with taxis, buses, and tube close by. Staff are friendly and the hotel is spotless. The menu of the day is great value at 14.95 euros for a three course meal, bread, water, and a glass of wine and coffee. Breakfast was a bit expensive at 12 or 16 euros if booked later. The bar has awesome cocktails and great service. The only warning is that when leaving the hotel, there's a 4 euros per person per day tax for stays in Barcelona which most don't know about.

This hotel was great value and had an excellent location. I give it 4 stars since it was slightly further away from the Gothic Quarter than I had hoped, but this may be a pro for some people. Accessing the airport, the train station and the Metro was nice and easy.

The personnel were friendly and accommodating. The accommodation was aesthetically pleasing with an excellent shower. There was a charming bar on the roof terrace, with sublime views and a variety of drinks (except for brandy unfortunately). Prices were quite reasonable. The pool was unfortunately small and a bit chilly, but visually it was lovely.

This hotel was perfectly situated and provided all the necessary amenities. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was hearty. All the services such as bus, taxi and restaurants were nearby. On top of that, there was a rooftop bar with great service and music.
