It's extremely convenient to get around from this hotel, whether you're catching a flight from the airport or exploring the local area. The hotel and rooms are in immaculate condition, plus you're close to the metro without having the disruption of loud noise. My stay was a pleasant one, so much so that I'm sure I'll be returning again soon. The staff are really helpful too, so I absolutely recommend this place.

This hotel offers great value for money and its quality is top-notch. The guestrooms are neat and roomy, with an outstanding location for sightseeing in Barcelona. Plus, the roof terrace is a great plus; however, keep in mind that the pool is not suitable for proper swimming, as it is only 10 meters long and 1 meter deep.

The accommodation in question offered less than ideal conditions. The room was miniscule, and the staff were not particularly warm and inviting. A range of additional services were available for a fee, and the amenities on offer were far from impressive. Despite the relatively costly price tag, there are more suitable options in the city that are located near the main attractions. Moreover, the area surrounding this particular accommodation is not particularly well known for its restaurants or tourist spots.

Upon arrival at the Occidental Barcelona 1929 Hotel on February 9th, we encountered some difficulties during the check-in process. The receptionist was unable to locate our printed booking confirmation and requested that we confirm the booking with a payment by credit card, which we provided. Following the transaction, we were informed that the booking was for March instead of February and, due to the non-refundable nature of the rate we had selected, the booking could not be canceled. Given the circumstances and our travel plans, we decided to make a new booking for the same room and used the same credit card to pay for it. It is worth mentioning that despite the double charge to our credit card, we were asked to sign for both the initial booking and the new one.

I stayed at Occidental Barcelona 1929 and had a terrible experience. Upon check in, someone unknown even entered my room while they were naked! Breakfast was extremely disappointing with no variety at all. It was also very noisy, you could hear everything, so it was impossible to get any rest. The rooms were way too small! To make matters worse, the hotel didn't even offer food discounts for Barcelo members. Terrible service and a really bad stay overall.
