We stayed one night before a cruise and the hotel we stayed at was very clean and modern. The location was within walking distance of The Magic Fountain of Montjuïc, and the room, though small, was clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. There was a small roof top pool with incredible views and a comfortable lounge area with a bar (where smoking was allowed). The breakfast was delicious and had a large variety of hot and cold items as well as coffee machines that could make any kind of coffee. I had about four decaf cappuccinos and they were amazing!
This hotel provides a fantastic experience for any traveler looking for a great stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the bed is huge! The staff are courteous, smiling, and helpful, especially those managing breakfast and lunch and the young lady in the rooftop cocktail bar. There is a wonderful cocktail bar on the rooftop along with a decent-sized swimming pool, and the hotel's location for travelling around the city is excellent, with bus stops and metro stations right outside and a taxi rank just around the corner. There is plenty of options for lunch and dinner nearby, from restaurants and bars to shops, and the menu del dia offered at the hotel was a great bargain. For those who don't want to walk to the beach, bus or metro will get you there in 20-40 minutes. All in all, staying here is highly recommended.
I'm quite content with my pick ??. You can catch a glimpse of Plaza España from the pool, breathtaking views ?! Very well designed hotel, comfy king-sized bed and generous shower ?. Toiletries were of a really nice smell ?. Magnificent lobby ?. I was a bit disappointed that there was no kids channel in English ?, and check in took a bit long even though I had pre-checked in ?.
We decided to stay at this hotel for a transit overnight stay in Barcelona. It was within walking distance of Sants and only a 14-minute taxi ride away from the airport, making it incredibly convenient. Although it was at the upper end of our spending limit, we decided it was worth it for the comfort and convenience it provided. Plus, there were plenty of great places to eat nearby.
