Olivia Plaza Hotel

The hotel I stayed at in Barcelona exceeded all expectations and truly deserves more than 5 stars. Its excellent location allowed for easy access to most of the city's top attractions and it was just minutes away from public transportation, dining options, and shopping centers. The rooms were generously sized and well-maintained, and the added bonus of complimentary parking was greatly appreciated for those with a car. The breakfast spread was mouthwatering, offering a wide range of delicious food choices. The staff were exceptional, displaying a high level of professionalism, warmth, and helpfulness. Every member, from the doorman to the cleaning staff to the restaurant and reception team, went above and beyond to ensure the best experience for guests. Upon our early arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade and a staff member even escorted us to the parking area. In our room, a lovely fruit platter and welcome card awaited us. I would highly recommend this hotel and it will be my go-to every time I visit Barcelona.

Our weekend in Barcelona was absolutely fantastic and our accommodations were top-notch! Despite arriving early in the morning from a long flight, the staff graciously stored our bags and even provided us with refreshing bottles of water for our city explorations. The hotel's ability to accommodate three people in one room was a rare find in Barcelona. Its location was conveniently situated, allowing us to easily walk to many of our desired destinations and also have access to public transportation. We thoroughly enjoyed some lovely drinks in the outdoor garden and the breakfast was delectable. The staff were all incredibly welcoming and our room was impeccably clean and contemporary. We highly suggest this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona!

My partner and I had made a reservation for one night at a hotel in Barcelona, following our cruise. Unfortunately, on the last day of the cruise, my partner became seriously ill and had to be taken to a hospital in the city. I had to call the hotel in the morning to cancel our reservation for October 7th, and while I spoke to two different staff members, none of them were able to provide a refund. I then spoke to a kind gentleman who suggested submitting documentation of my partner's hospitalization for further consideration. However, we were later informed via email that a refund would not be possible. We were disappointed not only by the lack of empathy shown towards our situation, but also by the hotel's refusal to even consider a partial refund or credit. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this hotel and would advise others to avoid it as well. S & R Fink....

? Disappointing stay at this hotel. ??? Rooms were outdated and had a lot of dirty marks on the flooring. ? No storage space for clothing besides a couple of hangers, so be prepared to live out of your suitcases. The shower door was also broken. ? We left some things behind and it took several days for them to even find them, and then they wanted to charge us $121 euro to ship them back. Outrageous and unfair. ?

?Excellent location, ?stunning room, ?amazing service. The hotel had a ✨great vibe and it was perfect being on Plaza Catalunya with ?‍♂️La Rambla nearby. ?Casa Bátilo was only a short 10 minute walk and there was plenty of ?shopping options in the area.
