Olivia Plaza Hotel

I absolutely loved staying at this hotel! The location was simply unbeatable - right on the front of Barcelona's main Plaza Catalunya ?. The rooms were neat and in good condition with plenty of amenities ?. Plus, the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful and they spoke English very well ?. As a bonus, we were upgraded to city-view rooms ? without incurring any additional charges - definitely a highlight of our trip! All in all, a great stay ?.

I visited the accommodation with my family. The main advantage of this hotel is its perfect location at the beginning of the Gothic area. The rooms are modern but small. Unfortunately, both of our rooms had no external view or windows - instead, they had glass walls overlooking the lobby and almost facing other rooms doors, so we had to keep our curtains closed most of the time. Another disadvantage was the open sink inside the room, which made it feel quite cluttered. The closet had very limited open hangers at the entrance too. The breakfast was smelly and had very limited choices; eggs and ham. We opted to have breakfast outside, as there were plenty of other options within walking distance. The staff were polite and helpful. Overall, the main advantage of this hotel remains its location.

We stayed at a hotel in Barcelona for a long weekend and could not be more pleased. The room was neat and cozy, offering a great view of the plaza. It was a great spot for people watching! The shower had amazing hot water, and the beds were plenty big and incredibly comfortable. Despite being in a prime, central location, our room was surprisingly quiet; we had some of the best rest we've had in months. The breakfast buffet had more than enough variety and everything was delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Our only criticism of the hotel would be that, given the high quality and price point, it would have been nice to have nespresso coffee machines in the room, as is provided in the breakfast area. Another regret is that we weren't aware of the partner gym and pool; had we known, we would have taken full advantage. Regardless, we are already planning our return to this wonderful establishment.

Staying at this hotel was a delightful experience! We were provided with a convenient airport shuttle which cost a few euros and was easily bookable online ?. With the hotel in such a prime location, there was plenty to do around us! We were even gifted with a warm welcome and an upgrade to a Plaza view room ?. The room itself was incredibly spacious, clean and luxurious with a huge shower room and separate bath. Small details like the Nespresso machine ? and bottle of Cava left in an ice bucket for us ? were greatly appreciated. We highly recommend this hotel ? and it will be the first place we check when returning to Barcelona! ?

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spotless and spacious, so much so that we were fortunate enough to be given an upgrade to a suite. The bathroom was absolutely luxurious, with a great bathtub to soak in. The concierge was incredibly helpful, and the location could not have been better - perfect for sightseeing and conveniently located for catching the bus to and from the airport.
