Radisson Blu 1882 Hotel, Barcelona Sagrada Familia

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. The location was ideal, being so close to La Sagrada Familia. The hotel was great value for money and easy to locate and get a taxi from. We definitely intend to stay again.

This hotel is a real find and the main lobby, bars and restaurant are gorgeously decorated. The rooms provide generous space for European standards and are very clean. Our family had 3 rooms side by side which were wonderful value. The food was delicious and the bar employees José María and David served the most delicious sangria in Barcelona. We enjoyed some great conversations with them about Spain. The staff were all very courteous and helpful, including the doormen. The breakfast looked scrumptious, but we never seemed to be hungry in the mornings. The pool and rooftop offered a great place to relax after a long day. It's within easy walking distance to the magnificent Sagrada Familia with plenty of cute cafes nearby. We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed in the Radisson Blu 1882 Hotel, Barcelona Sagrada Familia for 3 nights and paid 990€ without breakfast. If you would like to grab a breakfast separately, it’s 20€ per person. Our stay was quiet and relaxing. The housekeeping was average, not quick to clean our room and not looking too closely at details, for example at 16h our room was still not cleaned and they had left one of the pillowcases they had exchanged on our nightstand. The lobby was spacious, clean and beautiful, making for a fast check-in and out. The hotel is located two streets away from The Sagrada Familia, 20 minutes away by car or scooter from Barceloneta, 5 minutes from Park Guell by Yego scooter (which we definitely recommend!), 35 minutes from the airport by taxi (€35 total) or 1 hour by metro (€5 per person). The rooftop bar and pool was a nice and serene spot, though there was not much of a view of the Sagrada Familia from the pool as it is blocked by other buildings and laundry. The fitness area was basic, enough machines for cardio and weights up to 14kg, and open 24/7 with water and towels provided. The room was spacious and clean with amenities shared from big bottles on the wall. There was a steamer for clothes and a great hairdryer in the bathroom plus a kettle and Nespresso machine with complimentary water. To top it off, we even received a bottle of cava for celebrating my birthday - a really nice gesture! All in all, the quality of Radisson did not disappoint, but it was generally too expensive for what it is.

The front desk candy was delicious. There were other complimentary snacks (Starbursts, but make sure to check the flavor) and lemon water available. Their olive oil chips tasted great. The rooms were very modern and clean and the hotel as a whole was peaceful. It's situated in a great location, a short walk away from Sagrada Familia, and a 15-20 minute walk from other top attractions and the main shopping street. Taxis waited outside and there were always people at the front desk to steer you in the right direction. All in all, this place definitely deserves a rating of 47328 out of 10.

This hotel has an amazing location super close to Sagrada Familia and the metro station, plus its within walking distance from plenty of attractions, stores, and restaurants. It's very easy to hail a taxi in front of the hotel too. The property looks modern and had a great atmosphere. The rooftop terrace and bar, as well as the pool area, were particular highlights. The breakfast area was pleasant and had plenty of food to enjoy. The room was super spacious, cozy, and spotless. The elevators were super fast and the staff were friendly. I'd definitely stay here again.
