This was an excellent experience! The staff were really welcoming and friendly ?, and the restaurant and lounge were great ?. We chose this place for a quick ? airport transfer and it certainly didn't disappoint. The only slight downside was the availability of instant coffee ? in the rooms but all in all, it was a great place to stay ?.
What a letdown! ?The area in which this hotel is situated is far from the city center and it seems as if they have measured every penny when it comes to interior design and the food in the restaurant. To top it off, the "airport shuttle" door was only staying half closed with the help of some rags ??♀️. All in all, not at all what we were expecting ??.
Overall I was very happy with my stay at Salles Ciutat del Prat Barcelona Airport, especially considering I had booked at the last minute. The cost of €113 was a great deal and the hotel looked lovely. The room was a good size and had everything we needed - shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, a safe and a hair dryer. The aircon wasn't the best, and we had to ask for towels, however that was a minor point. The food we ordered through room service was just average, nothing over-priced but it was ok. We unfortunately didn't get a chance to explore the facilities, as we were only there for a few hours. The free bus shuttle sounded good, however it was tricky to find the place where it picked up from. The hotel has its own bus, which was a great option. All in all I was very pleased with the hotel and the staff were very helpful and polite.
Close to the airport, with free shuttle bus, made Salles Ciutat del Prat Barcelona Airport a great option for my business trip. Breakfast was delicious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The room was clean and had everything I needed. My only issue was that the temperature was hard to adjust. As far as customer service, some of the employees could have been more helpful. Unfortunately, there's not much to do in the surrounding area. Although I wouldn't stay here for sightseeing, it's great for a night before a flight out of the airport.
Definitely I'm staying here again if I come back to Barcelona!
