Hotel Barceló Sants was wonderful! The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable, and the beds were so comfortable. The room size was great, too. Unfortunately, the elevators didn't seem to be up to par during our stay; they were slow and a couple of them didn't seem to be functioning at all. Fortunately, the front desk address the issue quickly and efficiently when, one day, we were left without towels or toilet paper in our room during our daily room service.
I did not pick this establishment- it was chosen by my company. This accommodation is not in the best location to explore the city. The rooms are minimalist and lack character. There is no soundproofing whatsoever, meaning it is easy to hear those in the next room and people walking around overhead. This place does not even have an actual lobby, so it's not ideal. With so many great hotels in Barcelona, look elsewhere!
I stayed at this hotel twice and on both occasions the window blinds didn't work ?. The breakfast area was like a school canteen and could do with reducing food options and providing better quality ?. There were insufficient lifts, which resulted in a 20 minute wait at departure?. I even had to carry my heavy cases down 6 flights of stairs, which at my age (75) was not the best ?. I still haven't fully recovered two days later.. ?
The Via Sants Hotel Barcelona, Tapestry Collection By Hilton is a great choice for travelers looking for a no-frills stay in the city. The hotel itself is clean and well organized, making it easy to find your way around. The staff are friendly and helpful, and check-in and out was a breeze. There's not a lot of charm in the decor, but the price point and location make up for it. All in all, an ideal spot for a no-nonsense stay in Barcelona.
This accommodation was the perfect place to stay for our city break. The room was exceptionally clean, with a wonderful view. Our stay was extremely comfortable and the close proximity to public transportation was an added bonus. We were also able to explore the local neighbourhood with ease.
