We had a lovely one night stay at this hotel near the train station. Andrea at the front desk was so accommodating and provided us with tips on how to use the Barcelona Sants metro. The room was clean and spacious and the bathroom had double sinks with plenty of countertop space. Unfortunately, there was a bit of noise due to a convention at the hotel and as there was no carpet or rugs in the room, we could hear people walking in heels in rooms below/above us. The breakfast buffet was extensive with a great selection and the coffee was the best we had on our stay in Spain. All in all, we had a pleasant stay!
This hotel provided a great stay! It was very comfortable and offered great service, making me feel safe and secure. I could even leave my luggage for a day while I explored the city further. Plus, the location was amazing - with the metro and trains right next door ??, so I could get anywhere in town with ease ?. Highly recommend ???!
The location of the Via Sants Hotel Barcelona was great, the rooms were clean ?. However, during my 4-night stay, the air conditioning unit ? was not working and despite calling the reception ? and visiting them in person ✋, no one seemed to care about fixing it, making the stay miserable ?. Requesting a room change ? received no response either. For a hotel that charges more than $300 ? per night, I would expect the facilities to be in working condition ?.
I really enjoyed our stay here. Upon booking, I didn't realize this place had a space theme—I'm not sure how I missed that! It was quite unique though, with its space-inspired decor and "windows" giving us views of outer space! We were upgraded to a suite, which was huge—there was a seating/dining area in addition to the bed and gigantic bathroom. Breakfast buffet was really great too—tons of options, including fresh omelettes, pastry, various cereals, hot food, drinks, and more. You definitely get your money's worth. Check-in and out were both very smooth and welcoming. I'd stay here again in no time.
The stay at this hotel was unsatisfactory. We had to endure the impolite behavior of the manager and front desk staff during our stay. Despite waiting in the designated area twice, we were disregarded when it was our turn, and the manager and staff had no remorse for this action. We were met with a callous attitude from both the manager and staff.
