Sofitel Barcelona Skipper

The Sofitel Barcelona Skipper was an absolutely delightful experience from the moment we arrived. The façade is adorned with an exquisite, green wall and the lobby is filled with warm, inviting colors. Our room was cozy yet luxurious, and the attention to detail was astounding. The staff were standouts, each providing excellent service, from Andres' warm welcome, to Michail's wonderful concierge tips, to the Porter, whose name we unfortunately can't recall. We felt so taken care of and loved every moment of our stay - we can't wait to come back! Gracias!

I recently stayed at Sofitel Barcelona Skipper and in all honesty, it was one of the worst experiences I've had. We were given keys for the wrong room, and when asked to move to the other room, we were told that it hadn't been cleaned yet. Despite this being the hotel's fault, the manager Janira did not want to listen to what we were saying, and instead began to threaten us with an extra charge on the bill if we did not pay for 3 rooms. She was incredibly rude and refused to compromise despite many attempts we made to explain the situation. The rooms weren't cleaned every day either, which added to the already poor service. Although the hotel might be expensive, it would have been worth it if the service was satisfactory, unfortunately this was not the case.

I had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Barcelona Skipper! Breakfast was delicious, the location was ideal and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the gym was well equipped. We did not try the restaurant or bar, but we heard good things about it. The only issue was that the room got quite warm, even when the heater was off, but the staff was accommodating enough to turn off the air conditioning for us a couple of times. All in all, it was an excellent experience!

Just got back from a three night stay, and it definitely was a great place to be. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and helpful, both checking in and booking restaurants. The overall feel of the hotel was excellent. The bar had amazing cocktails, and the two swimming pools - with the heated rooftop pool being a particular highlight - were absolutely lovely. On top of this, the location was ideal, in that it was close to the beach and in a short walking distance of the city centre. Although we only booked a superior room, it was absolutely fine, and we are certainly looking forward to returning later in the year.

Staying at Sofitel Barcelona Skipper was an absolutely enjoyable experience. The location of the hotel was perfect and the service and hospitality was excellent. The rooms were spacious and had a very elegant vibe to them. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was of exceptional quality. The staff was so accommodating and they went to great lengths to make sure our stay was nothing short of perfect. The breakfast at the restaurant was also excellent. Special shout out to Tiago Tavares and his colleagues at the concierge desk for their knowledge and helpfulness. They provided us with invaluable information about the city and its surroundings. The front desk staff was also amazing in making sure our experience was up to highest standards. Highly recommended.
