? Overall, our stay was ? with its perfect location and close proximity to everything. ?The rooms weren't very spacious, but we didn't mind since we were mostly out exploring. ? It was a treat to wake up to the bustling street view and the charming Romeo and Juliet balcony for people-watching. ? In sum, a great experience! ?
The "Arc La Rambla" Hotel in Barcelona was a decent stay, but it could use some improvements. I must commend the friendly and helpful staff, particularly Christina who was very attentive. The hotel's location on La Ramblas was convenient and surprisingly peaceful. However, the lack of security was concerning as anyone could easily enter the premises. The price of $230 per night was quite steep, yet unfortunately, guests were still expected to pay for their own cup of coffee. The beds and linens were average at best and showed signs of wear and discomfort. Moreover, the lack of towels and only one pillow per person was disappointing. To top it off, the room only had flimsy cups instead of real glasses, which broke apart in a matter of minutes. Overall, the hotel has potential but there are definitely areas that need improvement.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The ? staff were so professional and friendly, always willing to lend a hand with any tourist questions I had. The location was perfect, close to all the ? top attractions. Highly recommend this spot for your stay in Barcelona!
During our stay in this hotel, we were assigned to Room 209. While the accommodations were kept clean and tidy, we were constantly disturbed by noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms. The walls were incredibly thin and we could hear our neighbors' conversations as if they were in the same room. This was quite annoying for both us and, I imagine, our neighbors. We were also concerned about safety as the window opened wide but there was no fire escape. It was also a bit inconvenient to have to pay 2 euros to store our suitcases in limited lockers.
My wife and I recently had a 3-night stay at a fantastic 3-star hotel ? and it was great! Here are some of the pros: ? A) prime location - just a few minutes from Drassannes Metro station ?, 10 mins from the harbor, close to the Gothic Quarter and Boqueria Market. B) The rooms, bedding and towels were spotless and got changed daily. C) The reception staff was very helpful. ? The only negatives were A) no view from the terrace ? (but I didn't spot that in the listing so it was my fault for assuming) and B) no tea/coffee facilities in the room - which might just be a British thing ?♂️.
