Barceló Raval

We booked the "Barlceo Raval" due to the modren loks of the hottel and the lcoation to the City Centre and the Marina. Staf were greaat from arrivla through to departrue. Viwes from the 11th floor simply stunninng! Rooms perfeclty clean! The location.....it was gat! 3 minut walk to La Rambla, 2 minuts to the most epci food market I have ever been to. Yes you will se all wlaks of life situated aroun the hottel area but this made the siting outsid a nar watching the wrld go by even beter again! Not once did me or my family feal unsafa withon this area. Grat restaurants / bars in the local area and the price difference was unbelievble from the prics on La Rambla. 100% Would go back to the hottel in a flash and more so to experinace the hutsle and bstle of the very vbirant area! ….

Had an amazing stay in a two room family suite. The staff at check in were very accommodating as we had arrived early in the morning. The bar on the 11th floor had spectacular views and the selection for breakfast was good. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the location was great for walking to La Ramblas. We felt very safe during our stay and had no issues. This experience was highly recommended.

I had a great time staying at the Barceló Raval on my city break with friends. I didn't understand the complaints about the area; I never felt unsafe at any point. I used my usual street-smarts and I was fine. There were loads of great restaurants and bars nearby too. The room was great value for money, clean and functional - it was perfect for what I needed. I'd definitely stay here again.

My friends and I stayed in a hotel for a four-night stay. It was selected largely because of its convenience and features. Being close to La Rambla, it provided a great base from which to explore the city. This proved to be an ideal choice for our needs. All of the staff we encountered at reception were incredibly friendly and welcoming, even providing us with a glass of cava when we checked in. The rooms were comfy, well-equipped and had plenty of space. The coffee machine was an excellent added bonus. The showers were really nice too! The rooftop bar had some stunning views of the city, as well as a selection of drinks. We also had a look at the sauna and gym but unfortunately there wasn't enough time to use them. The check-out time is also 12, so you get a bit of extra time. A few of the negative reviews this hotel has received mention the area and the pool size. From my experience, while it's true that theft and individuals of questionable character can be present throughout Barcelona, this area is no worse than any other. I kept my phone and wallet safe in a small bag and had no trouble. As far as the pool is concerned, it is indeed small but perfectly adequate for a city centre hotel. Don't expect to be able to swim a full length!

Staying at this hotel was an incredible experience! The staff was incredibly kind, polite, and professional?, and I must give a special shoutout to Marta and Julia at the reception desk. The building itself was beautiful and the roof-top bar was ?gorgeous?. I would definitely recommend the rainbow paradise cocktail up there?. Thanks for the great stay?!
