Barceló Sants

During my recent trip to Barcelona, I had the opportunity to stay at a hotel from March 4 to March 8 for a company summit. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience. The staff was excellent, the amenities provided were top-notch, and the location was perfect as it was situated right above the train station and within walking distance of everything. Although the breakfast served was delicious, I did notice a lack of variety as the days went on. The only downside was that the rooms were not completely soundproof, which meant some noise from the neighboring rooms could be heard. Despite that, I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to others.

But what truly made it an unforgettable trip was Andrea's exceptional customer service. With his fantastic recommendations, we were able to explore every nook and cranny of the city. The hotel had a unique space theme which was quite intriguing. The staff were very accommodating and the rooms were spotlessly clean and cozy. The location was perfect for easy access to public transportation and the train. It provided a comfortable stay for our group after an overnight cruise. If I were to have a similar trip in the future, I would definitely consider staying here again.

This hotel boasts of its convenient location for train travelers. During our recent stay, we made two stopovers on our way to Seville. After a long train ride from the UK to Barcelona, it was a relief to simply take an elevator from the Barcelona Santa station straight up to the hotel. The staff at the reception were competent and hospitable. However, the overall condition of the hotel seemed a bit outdated, especially with its space-themed decor. The rooms were decent, but even the supposedly superior "stratosphere" rooms felt a bit cramped. On the bright side, the beds and pillows were very comfortable. However, the poor lighting was quite bothersome. Despite the numerous switches, the room never seemed to be well-lit, perhaps in an attempt to stick to the space theme. On our second visit in the last two weeks, we discovered a clump of hair on the shower wall. As we didn't shower on the night of our arrival, we only noticed it the next morning before checking out. The staff at the front desk were apologetic about it. We also had breakfast during both stays, which was just okay and nothing out of the ordinary for a buffet breakfast. However, on our latest visit, we were disappointed to find that the signature fresh omlettes were not being served. It was a let down, especially since we paid more for our stay due to a large group of children and adults staying for a football event. Overall, our experience this time was slightly disappointing.
