The Corner Hotel

During our 5-night leisure city break in Barcelona, we were fortunate enough to stay at The Corner Hotel. And let me tell you, this hotel is a true gem! From the well-equipped rooms to the delicious breakfast, we were thoroughly impressed. Despite a small hiccup with our shower one night, the reception staff quickly arranged for us to use a neighboring room's shower while it was being fixed. This thoughtful service was a rare find in the midst of Covid. Not only was the hotel itself fantastic, but its location was also ideal for exploring the city and enjoying the nearby bars and restaurants. We highly recommend trying Romaine for tasty and affordable pizzas, and Pepa Wine Bar for amazing food and wine. Be sure to also make a stop at Orient Express Cocktail Bar for a unique experience. Overall, our stay at The Corner Hotel was nothing short of perfect.

This hotel located in a convenient central spot, making it easy to explore all the must-see sights. However, the cooked breakfast was not very warm as the hot plate used to keep the food hot was not sufficient in heat. Nevertheless, this minor issue does not take away from the overall 4/5 star rating of the hotel.

During our short trip to Barcelona for our anniversary, my partner and I stayed at a hotel that truly exceeded our expectations. To our delight, upon arrival, we were greeted with a complimentary bottle of fizz and cake to celebrate our special occasion. We were immediately impressed by the elegant and stylish atmosphere that filled the entire hotel, from the reception area to our room. The staff at the reception were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Our room was modern, well-lit, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The breakfast spread was exceptional, offering a variety of continental and cooked options, along with a refreshing glass of cava. Although the pool was closed due to the drought in Catalonia, the rooftop terrace was still a beautiful spot to relax and take in the city views. The Eixample neighborhood where the hotel is located is charming, with plenty of trendy restaurants and a lively nightlife scene. The famous La Rambla is also just a short 20-minute walk away. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again in the future.

I absolutely loved my time at this hotel! ? It was a hidden gem in Barcelona that we stumbled upon. We've been coming here for years and this was by far the most amazing place we've stayed at. The rooms were comfy and spotless, and the staff was superb! ? They even surprised us with bubbly and cheesecake for our anniversary. The air conditioning and heating worked perfectly, and the water pressure was strong (but mindful of the drought). The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. ? The secure parking garage was a big plus, and the location was perfect for our anniversary dinner at Disfrutar - we were lucky to snag a reservation there. Did I mention how awesome the staff was? ?

This hotel was located in a fantastic neighborhood. The accommodations were superb, with a sunny and roomy room, cozy bed, and a generously sized shower. The employees were friendly and helpful, even letting me check in a few hours ahead of schedule. I had a fantastic experience and wouldn't hesitate to return.
