My stay at the Gaudi Hotel in Barcelona was a pleasant one. The hotel may be older, but its prime location more than makes up for it. When we arrived early, the staff kindly provided us with 2 lockers to store our suitcases until our room was ready. And when we finally got to our room, we were greeted with a balcony that offered a stunning view of the top of the museum across the street, where there were interesting exhibits on the roof. The breakfast buffet at the hotel was also top-notch, with a wide selection of delicious options. Overall, I would highly recommend the Gaudi Hotel for its convenient location, charming balcony views, and great breakfast.
This hotel was highly sought-after and situated in a fantastic location - peaceful yet conveniently close to Las Ramblas. The rooms were understandably compact, but had everything we needed, including a kettle and reliable wifi. However, it's worth noting that the safe required a key and there was no refrigerator available. Our room on the fifth floor had a lovely terrace, and on the sixth floor there was a terrace with a shallow plunge pool. If you are arriving early, especially after a long flight, I would suggest booking the night before so you have a place to rest upon arrival. The hotel is extremely popular and all of its 70 or so rooms are typically booked, so an early check-in is not guaranteed. In case of early arrival, you may be given a key to store your luggage in a locker, or if they are all occupied, your bags will be placed in a small closet near the reception area. Check-in is at 3 PM. We opted for a delicious pita meal from Mustafas across the street and enjoyed it on our terrace. There is a small bar on the ground level and breakfast is served on the sixth floor, though we did not partake in either. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.
The accommodations and staff exceeded our expectations. During our brief stay at this location, my friend and I were treated with superb service and were blessed with a breathtaking view. The breakfast servers were all fantastic and the food was delicious. One particular server went above and beyond by making sure a bottle of bubbles was kept chilled for us in the restaurant, even for the evening. The entire front desk team, especially Arnou, welcomed us upon arrival and provided exceptional assistance throughout our stay, making us feel like we were at a home away from home. I can't wait to return and I've already recommended this hidden gem to several friends and family members. To top it all off, the manager even took the time to personally respond to my thank you email, which is a rare and special touch that truly showcases the outstanding, personable nature of this hotel.
? Perfect location for exploring the city! ?♂️?♀️Conveniently close to La Ramblas and easily accessible for tours. The hotel was cozy, tidy, and had elevators ?️? The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. ? The front desk even assisted me in filing a police report when my purse was taken, but thankfully returned by a hidden officer, fully intact. ? Definitely recommend staying here for easy access to the beautiful Palais Guell. ?
Our stay at this hotel in the center of Barcelona, just off of La Ramblas, was absolutely fantastic. We booked two nights before embarking on our Symphony of the Seas cruise to Fort Lauderdale from Barcelona. Although the hotel is on the older side, it was impeccably clean. The breakfast offered was exceptional and all of the staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. If we have the opportunity to visit Barcelona again, we would definitely choose to stay here once more.
