A twin room right in the city centre, opposite Palau Guell, was our accommodation. It had a good amount of space, a balcony and a great bathroom, complete with bidet. The building had a lift, and it was spotlessly clean. There was a rooftop with lovely views, and even a pool, though just for dipping your feet. Without a doubt, I wholly recommend this hotel and will be returning again!
This little hotel was perfectly located, close to all the attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and the rooms were clean and tidy with nice bathrooms. Despite being at the centre of the city, the hotel was surprisingly quiet in the evening. My only suggestions would be to add tea/coffee making facilities to the rooms and a mirror to the room, aside from the one in the bathroom. Apart from that, I'd definitely recommend this place.
This fun boutique hotel offers a great breakfast and spacious rooms. We had a balcony with a great view of the street and a nearby palace, which was great during the day. Unfortunately, the nighttime noise was quite loud and rowdy. The windows did an incredible job at muffling the sound, but the air in the room felt stuffy and warm with them closed. The convenient location made it easy to explore the area between the hotel and the gothic quarter. It's definitely worth it to look around here for better quality souvenirs than what can be found on the main roads. All in all, I'd stay here again.
We reserved a superior room at Gaudi Hotel, but it was really nothing more than a standard room with a larger balcony. It was shockingly untidy. Worse, the paint was decaying in many parts of the room. Overall it was very disheartening. Avoid this hotel if you can.
Second time in Barcelona and we made sure to stay at Gaudi Hotel again! We enjoyed our stay last time so much that going anywhere else wasn't an option. Just like before, the check-in was fast and efficient, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The room was even better than before - a great view of the Palau Güell, a large bathroom and a very clean and comfortable space. The maids were so thoughtful and always had the room looking fresh. The rooftop terrace is a great spot for taking in the city - the views are spectacular and the small foot pool was a great added bonus. We will certainly be back here again - Gaudi Hotel is the perfect place to stay in Barcelona.
