This modern hotel had a really nice design. I was quite impressed with the room, and the pillows and bed were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was really good, offering a variety of food. I wasn't a fan of the coffee at breakfast, but the coffee machine in the room was spot on. Unfortunately, the roof bar wasn't open (I thought the price was a little too high).

This place is worth a look even if it's not situated in the city center. Glories stop for the hop on hop off bus is close by and tickets can be purchased at the reception. We got the chance to go up to the rooftop terrace and the view of the Glories tower while the sun was setting was incredible. An added bonus was the complimentary spa at their sister hotel, Olympic Villa n Suites, although you have to pay 2 euro for a towel. What was a bit of a letdown was the housekeeping and the fact that complimentary water is not provided. During the cleaning process, all our belongings were carelessly thrown around and never put back in their original spot. It gets even worse when it comes to water; only a small pack for the first night and then you have to buy it from the bar if they don't provide more upon request. In comparison, the sister hotel Olympic Villa offers water dispenser in the room. With this service taken care of, this place could have easily gotten 5 stars.

This place is quite pleasant, with modern and clean rooms. It's great to be surrounded by small cafes and shops, and there's not much noise from outside. ? However, there are a few shortcomings. No mini bar in the rooms, prices but no products. Trying to get a drink at the “24 hour bar” isn't easy because of the lack of staff, and I waited 25 minutes before giving up. The rooftop bar is closed, so no food and drink allowed on the terrace, and that hot tub was dreadfully cold ?. You'll need to be ready for a lot of walking - the beach, marina and old town are at least a 30-40 minute walk away, and the terrain is quite hilly. Taxis are hard to come by, so that's your only option. Also, one bottle of water in the room for 4 days for two people is insufficient ?. With the bar so hard to get to, that was pretty disappointing.

We had a four-night stay in a double standard room at this city hotel, and it was exceptional. The room was a nice size for a city hotel and was tidied up every day with fresh linen. The location was superb, walking distance from Glories and Bogatell metro stations, and not far from a Westfield shopping center and a big supermarket. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel, but there were plenty of inexpensive cafes and tapas spots nearby, and an excellent restaurant called Dgust two blocks away. The pool area on the rooftop was quite peaceful, though sadly the bar was not open. However, we managed to get a drink from the hotel and take it up to the rooftop ourselves. All in all, a fantastic stay!

This friendly accommodation was ideal for a four night city break, booked as part of a package. It's situated in a quiet area but just a 20 minute walk to must-sees like the ?Sagrada Familia?, Barceloneta beach and the ?Picasso Museum?. Our twin room was perfect, with a good shower, tea/coffee amenities, mini-fridge, decent wardrobe and the comfiest bed ever! ?There's also a roof top pool and jacuzzi (huge hit) which is great for siesta time. Even though the roof top bar isn't open in winter, we bought drinks from the hotel bar. No need to overpack either, shampoo and body wash in the shower plus toothbrushes, mini travel toothpastes and soap are provided. ?We kept our room only booking but there are several breakfast options close by, like local cafes with cheap deals, a cafe at the Westfield shopping centre and one at the design museum. ?If you're looking for something nearby, check out Els Encants for the flea market on huge scale and Torre Glories for the Cloud Cities experience on the top floor. ?For a 20 minute taxi to the hotel, it cost €34, while the metro and airport train back cost us only €5.15 and was a 45 minute journey. ?I emailed the hotel beforehand with questions and received prompt, informative replies. The only suggestion I'd make is they have more than one staff member at the bar during busy times. ?We're sure we chose the right hotel and I'd happily stay here again! ?
