The room was clean and the beds were comfy. Tea and coffee facilities were also provided in the room, however the rooms were very, very small and cramped with luggage. The aircon controls and windows did not work, and the view out of the window was overlooking a block of flats. There were never any bar staff present when trying to order food or drink and the 24 hour room service was a misnomer. I was told 'no' when we called down for some water after midnight. This hotel has no personal touch and no customer service, do not stay here if you're looking for a holiday experience.
My stay at Golden Hotel Barcelona was outstanding! The staff were friendly, the rooms were spotless, and the views from the rooftop terrace and pool area were spectacular. The breakfast was varied and delicious, and the location in the heart of the city was ideal. The security was high, making our stay very safe and comfortable, and all the staff had great knowledge of the area, giving us amazing recommendations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a fulfilling stay in Barcelona.
I highly recommend staying at Golden Hotel Barcelona! The hotel is modern, clean and the staff were really friendly. We had a great buffet breakfast every morning and the location wasn't a problem for us either as we enjoy walking - it took us 25 minutes to get to Sagrada Familia. The nearest metro station is also just 5 minutes away, which made it very easy to get to the airport from there. I would definitely recommend staying here.
The Golden Hotel Barcelona exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, each willing to go the extra mile to make my stay enjoyable. The accommodation was modern, clean and had everything I needed - a comfy bed, a great bathroom and facilities such as a safe and tea/coffee maker. It was situated in an ideal location with a 10 minute walk to the beach and a few minutes onto the Rambla Del Pobleneu for restaurants and bars. Metro Line 1 was easily reached too, making day trips to Girona and Sitges a breeze. The only issue I had was with a noisy room next door but the hotel staff responded quickly and efficiently, which I was very grateful for. All in all, a great place to stay and I'd highly recommend it.
