H10 Itaca

Upon arriving at the airport in Barcelona, we decided to take a taxi for approximately 50 euros. However, had we known how close the hotel was to Sants Station, we would have opted for the train. The hotel itself was pleasant, but there isn't much to do in the immediate area. To explore the city, we took the hop on hop off tourist bus from Sants Station. The breakfast offered a satisfying variety of hot and cold options. We didn't have dinner at the hotel, as we preferred to dine in the city. The rooms were clean but on the smaller side. Ours only had a bed and a small cupboard with limited hanging space for dresses. Unfortunately, there were no surfaces to put our belongings and not enough room to even lay our suitcases flat. For this reason, I would only recommend this hotel for a short stay.

I only stayed one night, close to the railway station. Room was okay, breakfast was good. ? But, when I took a shower in the morning, I couldn't believe it - there was only a dribble of water coming out. ? It was the kind that you switch between flow to bath or shower, so really annoying. Such a basic thing should have been working. ? Plus, there was nothing I could do about it as I had a train to catch. The receptionist apologised, but I find it hard to believe that the hotel didn't know it wasn't working. Cleaners must have noticed even if no one had reported it. Who else has experienced the lack of working shower in room 610? ? I definitely won't be staying in this hotel again... ?‍♀️

Staying at this hotel was an amazing experience! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly - from the front desk to housekeeping to maintenance. They sorted out issues immediately and even had our room ready early for us. ? The room itself was very clean and comfortable. One day, we didn't get housekeeping but it was sorted out within minutes. ? The coffee maker in the room was great for espresso lovers. ? The bathroom amenities were of high quality. ?? The buffet breakfast was excellent, even though it's not included in the stay. ? The hotel's location is good, but you might need to take a few taxis to get to places. ? All in all, it was a great stay, thanks to the fabulous staff! ??

We stayed at this hotel both before and after a cruise and the staff was incredibly helpful with our needs, both during the day and night. The accommodations were comfortable and the food was enjoyable. It's a great spot to use as a home base while exploring the city.

This hotel was great! Rooms were exceptionally clean and quiet - so quiet that we could barely even hear the traffic outside. The air con worked perfectly during the hot September weather, and the bed was supremely comfy. The bathroom was lovely and stocked with toiletries including shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand lotion and even toothbrushes. The shower over bath was amazing too, and there was even a tea/coffee tray. Breakfast was great, with lots of choices and food that stayed topped up throughout service. Plus, the location was perfect, close to Sants Station where we could easily use the train and metro and get a great deal on a 10 ride ticket for 11 euros.
