Upon my arrival at this allegedly four-star hotel, my high expectations were immediately dashed. The exterior may exude luxury, but the numerous additional fees and lack of basic amenities left a sour taste in my mouth. I have traveled extensively for 30 years and have never encountered such a nickel-and-dime approach. The absence of a complimentary kettle was a glaring oversight, and the indoor pool access came at a steep cost of €16 per person for just 90 minutes. This establishment fell short of its four-star rating and felt more like a three-star establishment.

The inexperienced bar staff lacked basic skills in cocktail-making and seemed to struggle with either knowing the recipes or having the necessary ingredients. This was a major letdown for someone seeking a seamless blend of comfort and convenience. Even more concerning was the director's repeated promise to improve after negative reviews, which came across as insincere and generic. The lack of tangible action or personalized responses left me questioning the hotel's sincerity in addressing guests' concerns.

While the location may be suitable for those who can navigate on foot, it poses challenges for the less mobile and elderly. The surrounding area is not well-suited for those with mobility issues, making accessibility a concern. Additionally, the nonchalant attitudes of some staff members contrasted significantly with the polite demeanor of others.

Even after inquiring about a potential upgrade, my request was completely ignored, and I was left waiting in the lobby without any acknowledgement. This lack of attentiveness made me feel disregarded and only added to the frustration of the overall service experience. It's unfortunate that I feel the need to write this review during my stay, but I hope it serves as a warning to others considering booking at this hotel. Barcelona is a fantastic city, but unfortunately, this hotel does not live up to its potential.

Located a bit outside the main part of the city, but the stroll there is pleasant. The staff were attentive and amiable. The rooms are nice with a cozy queen size bed. The shower has a good water pressure and the wifi works great. The breakfast is exceptional, with a wide variety of options nicely presented. The food at the bar is also delicious and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend and would stay here again. The hotel is well-maintained and gives a sense of security.

My experience at the H10 Marina Barcelona Hotel was absolutely wonderful. The hotel boasts a fantastic rooftop pool, spa, and restaurant, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing stay. The room itself was lovely, offering beautiful views and a convenient yet peaceful location. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted with a warm smile and even a glass of Cava - what a lovely touch that was! I also appreciated the stocked mini bar and complimentary cookies and water in the room, which were a refreshing treat after a long day of traveling. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend!

We recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. We were drawn to its location near the marina and gothic quarter. However, upon arrival, we discovered that it is actually situated in a residential area, a 20-minute walk from the sea and 30 minutes from the gothic quarter. While this was not a problem for us, it was not as close as advertised. The receptionist who checked us in was not very friendly or polite. Our initial room was not what we had booked and had to be changed. Even in the correct room, we were surprised to find that there was no kettle and that there was an additional charge for requesting one. As seasoned travelers, we have never had to pay for such a basic amenity before. We were also taken aback by the charge for using the indoor swimming pool, which required a reservation and limited us to only 90 minutes. We decided to dine at the hotel restaurant on our first night and were pleased with the food and service. However, we did notice that the senior staff seemed to have a sense of superiority towards paying guests. We also witnessed some guests being rudely told that the bar did not have the ingredients to make the cocktails they ordered. Breakfast was satisfactory, with a wide variety of options, but at a steep cost of 40 euros for two people. We ended up finding a charming café just outside the hotel for our breakfasts. We also discovered a delicious Mexican restaurant to the right of the hotel for our dinners. While the hotel is beautifully decorated and the rooms are comfortable, we do not believe it lives up to its 4-star rating. The prices are certainly reflective of a 4-star hotel, but guests are required to pay extra for basic amenities. A "privilege" club is also offered to elite guests, making us feel like second-class patrons. We will not be returning or recommending this hotel.

Amazing luxurious hotel. Close to the beech and the marina. I boked as a sol traveler for 2 nights pre cruis. My room was beutiful, with robes, slipers, te/coffe making facilities (including kelte) and biscuts and a safe. The bathrom had a ful lenght bath, with a showr and a bidet. The bed was comfertable and the pillos were soft. Ther were several plug soskets and 2 usb ports. Toyletries included hand wosh, shower jell, shampon and conditionr plus toothbrash and tothpast. My boking did not includ brekfast but it's availaable for €19 and the bufet includes bacon, egss, sausagges, pastres, cheesis, cookd meet selection and drinks. I'd definitly stay here again.
