H10 Marina Barcelona

This hotel was conveniently located near public transport and the beach, as well as being a short distance away from the city centre. We found the staff extremely welcoming and all public areas were kept clean and tidy. Our room was situated on the 6th floor, granting us a great panoramic view of the area. We thoroughly enjoyed the plentiful breakfast selection, and the restaurant atmosphere was pleasant. Although there was some noise one or two nights, this did not affect our stay.

Staying in the Old Olympic housing area, this hotel was not too close to the main areas of interest. The standard of the hotel was average ❌ but we had to deal with ants in our room ?️ which were never resolved by the hotel ??‍♀️. Furthermore, when showering, it was either extremely hot ? or cold ? and again this issue wasn't tackled. The food and beverages were good ?, yet as a Privilege Lounge customer, drinks weren't always provided in the mini bar ?. The restaurant was nicely presented ☺️though isn't ideal to observe the cleaner ? pushing her mops and buckets ? while preparing to close ? on our last night.

This hotel is a little far from the centre, but the staff were great. The room was nice, however the food in the restaurant wasn't great. We had a set menu but the food lacked in flavour and was lukewarm. Breakfast was alright, however the hot food was not in a hot plate which meant it was warm again. Overall, our stay was slightly let down due to the food.

The good points at this hotel were definitely the staff, who were extremely courteous and helpful. The hotel bar and restaurant provided a pleasant environment to relax in. The location was also great, with the beach only 20-minutes away and La Sagrada Familia in the opposite direction. There's also a Hop-on Touristic bus stop nearby, which made it easy for us to get around. The bad points, however, were that the food was pretty awful. The buffet style wasn't too bad but the food was of cheap, poor-quality and the hot items were often lukewarm even when just coming from the kitchen. The gym was also not up to much, so we would recommend that the hotel steered away from that.

Room was a good size, clean and modern.

Stayed at the H10 Marina Barcelona for a four-night city break and could not have been more satisfied. It was great value for money - flights and room, in total, costing us just under £500. Location was ideal, a short stroll from the beachfront with great eateries, and a convenient walk to the Bogatell metro station. We had lovely weather so took full advantage of the walkable area. The rooftop pool had a great atmosphere, though a bit too cold for swimming at this time of year for me. There was also a fantastic spa area which we unfortunately did not get a chance to visit. Breakfast buffet was superb, offering a wide range of continental and cooked dishes - the chorizo baby sausages and sugar-covered croissant with Catalan crème were especially delicious. Room was spacious, modern and spotless. Overall, an amazing stay!
