I had a great experience staying at the HCC Regente. The central location is ideal and it's easy to get to all the shops, restaurants, and attractions that Barcelona has to offer. The room was spotless and very comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel when I visit Barcelona again and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
The HCC Regente was a great place for my visit to Barcelona. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making my stay very pleasant. The room was spotless and nicely kept and the location was perfect - close to shops, cafes and amazing gothic architecture. Highly recommend this hotel!

Requested a room upgrade at additional cost and were let down by the standard of the room. Tea/coffee making facilities were not included and item needs to be requested. No information or guide in the room made it hard to contact reception, housekeeping or room service. The bar menu was very basic, lower prices were seen in the lift compared to the bar but was told it was a management decision. When food was ordered it came microwaved and awful, a real disappointment. Noise was heard every morning like there was construction work happening, making our stay very uncomfortable. We would not recommend this hotel and will not stay here again.
The hotel was conveniently located and clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the toilet in our room would not flush and they tried to fix it but it never worked properly. The room itself was a bit small and there weren't any pictures to liven it up; overall a bit plain.
The stay at HCC Regente was not what I expected. The rooms were outdated, the lifts slow, the bars, lounge and reception all in need of a major makeover. The breakfast was unsatisfactory and the atmosphere in the breakfast room felt sterile and unpleasant. Additionally, some services that were advertised were not even available, such as the rooftop bar. Overall, a great disappointment.
