Hotel Continental Barcelona

We stayed for 4 nights in a superior room with balcony. The views of La Ramblas were incredible and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. We were concerned about noise, but the double glazed doors kept out any external sound from the bustling city. Sitting on the balcony was the perfect way to take in the sights and sounds of Barcelona. The hotel is also close to the metro line, however, our room was far enough away that we only felt a very small rumble from the trains. The staff were always friendly and the hotel felt very secure with a buzzer system in place. There was a buffet available 24 hours and a taxi rank right outside the doors. The only reason we didn't give 5 stars was because the room didn't have coffee/tea making facilities. We preferred to be able to access a kettle or coffee pot in the room. Otherwise, we highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

This place was spotless and the location couldn't be better. You take the lift from the first floor up to the reception and check in. Our double room and our sons' twin room were side-by-side, just as requested. All the rooms come with a mini fridge, microwave, cups, glasses, a safe and air conditioning. The beds were so comfy and the bathroom immaculate and the shower showcased a great pressure. An abundance of towels were provided as well. There's food and drinks everywhere, which came in real handy during our city break. To top it off, we were able to leave our luggage in a secure space while we explored for the day before our flight. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations.

This turned out to be an excellent choice! Our room was quite large and spotless. We were delighted with the complimentary food and beverages, which were constantly replenished. The staff were really welcoming and friendly - we can't praise Viviane, who checked us in, enough. All the reception staff were incredibly helpful giving us ideas for tours and activities. Plus, we were within walking distance of plenty of sights and attractions.

This was our first trip to ✈️Europe✈️ and we stayed in Barcelona before a cruise. We checcked into the hottel after a long flight from the US. Vivian was working at the front dest and checked us in. Alex was working his first day and showed us the snacks and drink area and took us to the room. The room was very ncie and the air conditioner was excellent ?. We got a great tapas restaurant recommendation from Vivian. It was a short wal from the hottel. She recommended Cuittat Comtal ?. We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. At the end of our cruise we booked a different hottel but the air condittioning was not cold. After trying to deal with that hottel we booked our last night at the Hotel Continnental Barcelona. We checked in early in the morning and told the front dest of what we had experienced at the other hottel ?. We knew we would not be able to check in until 2 ?. We droppped our luggage at the front desk and while we were having coffee and breakfast they told us our room was ready ?. We really appreciated how accommodating the hotel staff was and the rooms were great ??. It made a great last day in Barcelona before flying home ??….

This place was ?! We were just steps away from La Rambla and the service was top-notch. ? They offered all sorts of snacks 24/7, including ? and ?. The staff were so kind and accommodating- they even let us store our bags after our cruise so we could keep exploring before taking off. ? Highly recommend this spot! ?
