The location of this hotel is ideal - just a short walk from Placa de Catalunya and near Metro stations. We had the pleasure of meeting the friendly and helpful staff, particularly Alex and the front desk team. The garden patio was a lovely spot to relax within the city. There was also a wide selection of treats to enjoy throughout the day. We had an enjoyable stay and would happily recommend it to others.
A three day stay before a long flight home to Australia was quite soothing. With airconditioning, the room provided a much needed respite after a day spent exploring the sweltering city of Barcelona. Topping it off, the balcony overlooked La Rambla, giving stunning views of the bustling activity below. The 24 hour buffet as well as the tranquil terrace for snacks and drinks were much appreciated. This was our second time visiting the hotel and we look forward to our return.
Gazing out onto La Rambla while having a glass of wine on our private balcony is one of the top memories we took away from our stay in Barcelona. We had the superior balcony room, which had a really good size and was neat and alluringly quiet. The room was on the first floor (which counts as the second floor for the rest of the world!). The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. An added bonus was the 24-hour buffet service - the breakfast menu consisted of European-style deli meats, cheese and bread. Despite being so close to the hubbub of La Rambla, the area felt perfectly safe. It was also conveniently located near the Hop-on/Hop-off bus. Don't be fooled by the rather mysterious entrance - an elevator will take you straight to the lobby. We had a great three-night stay in this hotel.
This 3 Star hotel is perfect - the staff is friendly, helpful, and hard-working; the rooms are spotless and there is a 24-hour buffet that is absolutely amazing. Its location is unbeatable and I can't see myself staying anywhere other than here while in Barcelona!
This is easily the worst accommodation I have ever encountered. The location is great, but the rooms are clean and the bed and shower are both comfortable. The all-day buffet and breakfast buffet, however, are terrible, and the two-storey setup of the building is confusing. Rooms without balconies right by the Ramblas are like prison cells. There is no adequate hotel equipment, like nowhere to put your suitcase. The price of around 260 euro per night is way too high for the level of quality. The carpets in the corridors are dirty and the lift and automatic doors to the hotel room floors are both in terrible condition. Overall, it was a truly horrible experience and I would not recommend this place at all.
