The location was perfect, we were able to walk to many landmarks and to find great restaurants near by. The hotel is also a masterpiece of architecture. Will definitely come back in the future!
The staff at El Palace Barcelona went above and beyond to make our holiday comfortable. They accommodated our late checkout request with ease and grace. We stayed in a room with superior deluxe service and it was just what we needed. The atmosphere of the hotel was wonderful, reminiscent of classic European grandeur. The location was also ideal, close to many of Barcelona's most famous spots, as well as some of the best food in the city. Not to mention the beautiful architecture of the hotel itself. We would happily visit El Palace Barcelona again!
All of the staff we encountered had only the highest attention to detail and true eagerness to make our stay as memorable as possible. I felt like part of the family. There were several added amenities, including a thoughtful tray of local delicacies each night that gave us something to look forward to after a long day out.
Every effort was made to ensure our stay was extraordinary, and the location didn’t hurt either! Located adjacent to one of Barcelona’s main thoroughfares, Avenida Diagonal, the neighborhood was central to all the attractions we wanted to visit. We explored the city from central to end, and El Palace was a comfortable base to come back to at the end of each day. The hotel just oozes old world charm and elegance, from the ornate rooms to splendid dining and lounging areas; it was simply exquisite. I will definitely be back!
My most recent visit to Barcelona was equally as delightful as my first, thanks to the El Palace Barcelona hotel. From its classic old world charm to its attentive and detailed service, it's no surprise why this is one of the city's premier luxury hotels. We arrived to find a tray of local delicacies awaiting us, and our Virtuoso Network travel agent had arranged early check-in for us. The hotel is situated in a perfect location, close to the city's attractions. We felt like royalty as we were surrounded by the ornate rooms and lounging areas, while being catered to by the most professional hospitality staff. We were truly spoilt and welcomed as part of the family. Every effort was made to ensure our stay was extraordinary. I highly recommend this hotel for its timeless elegance, great service and convenient location. It will definitely be my go-to choice for my next visit to Barcelona!
My stay at the Hotel El Palace Barcelona was simply unforgettable! Its grand and luxurious facade is inspiring and the lobby is beautifully designed. The Rooms were very spacious and beautifully decorated with magnificent views that overlook the city. Every detail was well taken care of and the service was excellent. Special mentions to Alexis at the front desk who went above and beyond to accommodate all our requests. We felt very taken care of and truly felt like home. A definite highlight of our trip!
Our stay at the El Palace Barcelona was a dream come true! The quality of the hotel, its timelessness, and the attentive staff made our experience truly magical. New Year's Eve was an especially exciting time, made all the more enjoyable by attending the Bluesman Cocktail Bar. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the extra effort that the staff put in to make our stay enjoyable was much appreciated. Additionally, the location of the hotel is a plus, as it's quite accessible to nearby attractions such as La Whiskeria and Lokal Bar, allowing us to explore and experience the city to its fullest. We are so grateful to staff members like Cristhian and Victoria, as well as the maitre d' who went above and beyond the call of duty to make our special holiday memorable. We can't thank the staff of the El Palace enough and we highly recommend it to everyone!
My stay at Hotel El Palace Barcelona was a first-class experience from check-in to check-out. During my 10-day trip I stayed for 5 nights -- both at the beginning and end. Every staff member went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I was particularly impressed with Fabio, the bartender in the Grand Hall Bar, who made his award-winning twist on a Negroni. The rooms were ample, spotless and quite cozy -- one junior suite and one classic room. I would absolutely stay at Hotel El Palace Barcelona again during my next visit to Barcelona!
