The location of the Hotel España Ramblas was great, right in the centre of all the hotspots of Barcelona. The rooms were very clean, spacious and equipped with everything I needed. However, the phone signal and WiFi were really, really bad which was very frustrating as I needed to do some work. This didn't improve for the entire three days of my stay. The staff at reception were very helpful and friendly but sadly this did not help solve the signal issue. Furthermore, the walls were not soundproof at all. I could hear the people in the next room, as well as the loud noises from the corridor in the morning when the cleaning staff and hoovers were in use. If I could show this through a video, I would. I would recommend this hotel for a shorter stay, but it wasn't very pleasant to stay here due to the problems with phone signal, WiFi and noise.
This hotel was the perfect choice for our trip. It's right in the heart of the city, just steps away from the vibrant Rambles. The Art Deco design of the lobby area is simply stunning and the amenities throughout the hotel exceeded our expectations. The room we stayed in was spacious, with a large terrace that offered great views of the city. The buffet breakfast was plentiful, with a variety of local dishes and international options. No doubt we would definitely come back to Hotel España Ramblas!
Stayed at Hotel España Ramblas and could not be happier. The location is ideal, right in the heart of the city and close to all the tourist attractions. Rooms were a bit small, but my children were given an upgraded twin room which was much more spacious. Every staff member was very friendly and we even got to enjoy the rooftop pool. The taxi was easy to use and no problems with it dropping us off and picking us up. Overall, great experience.
I'm so very glad we chose Hotel España Ramblas for our stay in Barcelona. It was truly a one of a kind experience staying there! The modernista decor was breathtakingly beautiful and made us feel like we were living in a bygone era. Our room was spacious and modern, yet very quiet. We could not have asked for better location either - anything we wanted to see was just steps away! The rooftop bar was lovely, though unfortunately there wasn't much of a view. The breakfast room with its mermaids was simply magical. However, the main drawback was that there was no lounge area for guests. The dining was quite pricey, so we decided to have our meals elsewhere. But we can't forget to mention the amazing front desk service and friendly staff - it really put the finishing touch on our time at the Hotel España Ramblas.
