The location was excellent, convenient for many tourist attractions. The staff were friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the room (number 207) was very outdated, with dilapidated curtains, stained walls and hobbled floor tiles. The bathroom had a rusty sink and the toilet cistern kept making noise and filling up. We could not find any instructions for the safe and no information folder. Despite this, the surrounding area was ideal with a popular Irish bar, a coffee shop and a supermarket nearby. We managed to enjoy our stay with the convenience of the location, but without it, we would have moved elsewhere.
I had the pleasure of staying at the Ilunion Almirante recently and I was fairly impressed. The location was great and the gracious, polite reception staff were helpful when it came to any queries I had. On the other hand, the room itself was quite underwhelming. The noise was unbearable at night and at one point we thought water was coming through the roof! If the hotel ever decides to have a refurb then I would have no qualms in returning.
We spent 3 days at Ilunion Almirante for my birthday and it was fantastic! The hotel itself was immaculately clean and the staff was very welcoming. The location was great; we were just steps away from the cathedral and there were plenty of wonderful restaurants nearby - no need to pay exorbitant prices for sub-par food at La Ramble! We had a truly wonderful time at Ilunion and we'll be sure to make another visit soon. Thanks for making my birthday a memorable one! ?
I had a wonderful time staying at the Ilunion Almirante. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Carlos who was at the reception. His level of courtesy and politeness was truly commendable. The rooms are also beautiful, with all the necessary amenities and impeccably clean. I couldn't have asked for more. I am more than happy to visit this place again and highly recommend it to anyone. Muchas Gracias!
