Kimpton Vividora Hotel, an IHG Hotel

A fantastic choice with minimal flaws and an exceptional staff, especially Hannah. The entrance may give the impression of an alley, but the location is surprisingly convenient. As a loyal patron of a different hotel chain, I have been expanding my business to include brands from IHG, who are evidently striving to elevate their reputation. While the rooms may not be overly spacious, they are certainly pleasant. The shower facilities are top-notch and feature toiletries from the local area (BCN). If I had to nitpick, I would say that the breakfast was adequate, but not exceptional. While you can opt for omelettes and other dishes with your breakfast, the ones I tried (omelettes, pancakes, etc.) were nothing extraordinary. Additionally, as someone who likes to correspond beforehand, I found the concierge team to be lacking in responsiveness and timeliness. However, overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return, as well as explore other IHG properties.

Situated in the midst of the charming gothic quarter, yet just a brief stroll away from the bustling Ramblas. We noticed a manned security presence outside the premises, but felt perfectly secure during our entire visit. The hotel team was incredibly welcoming and proficient - truly one of the best I've ever encountered. They kindly arranged for our early check-in after our flight. The rooftop bar provided a lovely setting to cap off the day with a cocktail and a breathtaking view of the city.

My recent stay in Barcelona was truly a highlight of our travels. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and made sure we felt at home from the moment we arrived. The complimentary glass of cava was a lovely touch and set the tone for a fantastic weekend. The staff were polite, well-informed and friendly, which was a refreshing change from other establishments we've experienced in the city. We were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a spacious double room with a luxurious extra large bed. It was perfect for a comfortable night's rest. As it was my birthday, the hotel went above and beyond by leaving a personalized card, cake and chilled cava in our room - a truly charming gesture. The shower was excellent and the room was quiet and well air-conditioned. The breakfast was delightful with a variety of egg dishes cooked to perfection, as well as a tempting buffet spread. The highlight of the hotel was the rooftop bar with stunning views of the city skyline. Our only minor complaint would be the early closing time of 8pm on weeknights and 11pm on weekends - we would have loved to enjoy the view a bit longer. The hotel's central location was ideal and we will definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I had a wonderful stay at a hotel in Barcelona. The rooms were generously sized and immaculately clean. They were beautifully decorated with crisp bed sheets. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, offering a wide range of delicious options. The staff were extremely attentive and made sure I was well taken care of throughout my stay.

The service at this hotel was exceptional and the staff went above and beyond to assist me during my stay. The check in and check out process was efficient and I was even able to check in early and receive a room upgrade. I felt very secure with 24/7 security near the entrance and the elevator required a room card for access. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The location is central and only a 2-minute walk from La Rambla. However, it should be noted that the hotel is located in the gothic quarter, not on a main street, and can be a bit intimidating to reach after 9pm. One issue I encountered was with the housekeeping service. I returned from dinner to find that all of my shopping bags, including a bag of food, had been removed from the room. This was unexpected and not the most appropriate handling of my belongings.
