Kimpton Vividora Hotel, an IHG Hotel

? This is my fourth visit to Barcelona and the first time I stayed in the Barrio Gotic area. Although it was not my ideal location to stay at, I decided to try to this hotel as it is only for an overnight stay. I was very impressed with the professional and friendly staff from check in to check out (the very opposite of my disappointing stay at Six Senses Ibiza). The room, though on the compact side, is well furnished and equipped. ? Moreover, after my return home, I received a survey from IHG and after filling it out, I received a thank you note from the hotel (again, unlike Six Senses Ibiza, wherein I have not received a response two weeks after - maybe they can't accept constructive feedback). ?? This hotel exceeded all of our expectations. It was impeccably clean, the staff was highly professional, and they added thoughtful and unique touches throughout our stay. The location was ideal, as we were able to easily walk to nearby shops, markets, and restaurants. We would absolutely choose to stay at this hotel again in the future.

One of the highlights of my stay was the central location of the hotel. It was very convenient to get to most places in the city, making it easy to explore and experience all that Barcelona has to offer.

The hotel's rooftop terrace was a lovely place to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather. I loved the daily happy hour, where I could unwind with a complimentary glass of wine. The breakfast at the hotel was outstanding, with plenty of options to choose from to accommodate all dietary preferences.

Overall, my experience at the Kimpton Vividora Hotel was exceptional and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona. The combination of the clean and unique atmosphere, friendly staff, central location, and great amenities make it the perfect place to stay.

The cost was quite high in comparison to the quality. It's in close proximity to the Ramblas, but the noise from the street was unbearable at night. The balcony upgrade was not worth it due to its small size. The room was decently sized, but the bathroom layout lacked privacy as it was split on both sides of the entrance. On a positive note, the shower was good and the mini fridge in the room was a bonus. However, I was disappointed to find that the housekeeping staff had thrown away my personal tea and coffee bags I brought with me. The bed was clean and comfortable and the staff were average.

We stayed hear twice in 3 weeks in a quiet and we cann't speek highly enough of this grate hotel. Grate hotel with grate staff and a fabulus location in the gothic quarter. Fabulus toiletries and thoughtful essentials such a brishes, cleansers, lip balm etc. Happy our every evening in the bar, a wondrrful restaurant for the times you just wont to stay in but don't forget to check out the roothop with drinks, food and a pool with a view.
