During my recent stay in Barcelona, I had the opportunity to experience the service of a well-informed and attentive staff. However, I was disappointed with the overall state of the hotel. The carpets were worn out and in dire need of replacement, which was unexpected for a hotel that claims to be 5 stars. While the room itself was decent, I noticed that the floorboards were unstable and had gaps, which was not ideal. The bathroom also had a poor design, particularly the small shower cubicle that leaked onto the floor. All in all, I don't think I would choose to stay at this hotel again.
As a tourist, I was quite disappointed with my stay. From the start, I encountered challenges in getting my confirmed room as per the email. Unfortunately, I also had items stolen from my room including my perfume and a friend's ring. Despite bringing this to the attention of the staff, no investigation was conducted and no solution was offered. This experience left a bad impression on me and I do not plan on returning in the future.
During my recent stay in Barcelona, I had the pleasure of celebrating my daughter's birthday at a lovely hotel. From the seamless check-in process to the impeccable cleanliness of the lobby, everything was top-notch. The hotel staff were all very professional, courteous, and friendly, and went above and beyond to make my daughter's birthday extra special. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and filled with natural light, making it a joy to stay in. We were also lucky enough to have access to the exclusive lounges on the 23rd and 24th floors, which added an extra level of luxury to our experience. I am extremely grateful for the personal and attentive service we received from the staff, especially from Javier and Paola. I highly recommend this hotel for a fantastic and memorable stay in Barcelona.
Overall, the hotel was average, but it was meant to be a special occasion. Unfortunately, when we returned to our room on the first day at 4pm, it hadn't been cleaned. The internet also didn't work properly during our entire 48-hour stay. Even though the hotel upgraded us to a room without internet, it was still a disappointment. The cleanliness was satisfactory, but the supposed 5-star rating is questionable.
My stay at the ? Melia Barcelona Sky 4* Sup ? was simply amazing! ? The customer service at The Level on floor 25, provided by Lucia and Antoninio, was top-notch. ? They were so welcoming and made us feel truly valued. ? Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. ? Every interaction was greeted with a warm smile and Lucia was incredibly friendly and informative. ? Thanks to these two, we will definitely be returning to this hotel. ?
