Melia Barcelona Sky 4* Sup

The service at this hotel was good until we requested room service for two glasses and cutlery. Much to our surprise, we were charged 4.50 €. Not a great sign for a 5 star establishment. These items should be provided upon arrival.

A great spot in Barcelona - far enough from the hustle of the city center, but still close enough to reach within 10 minutes. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff was fantastic. The accommodations were quite pleasant, and the price was fair. I particularly enjoyed my stay because of the distance from the center of town. Plus, there was a good variety of bars and restaurants in the area. I opted for one of the rooms with special access to the bar and restaurant - I would absolutely recommend it!

I was booked into this hotel as a surprise trip for my hen do. We were there for 4 nights and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. We had access to an exclusive area which was incredible to get snacks and drinks throughout the day. I want to give a huge shout-out to Lucia, Sofia, Guilia, Emma and Antonio who provided the best customer service at this area's reception.They helped me with booking and recommending fantastic restaurants which made the experience a trip to remember.

The ??‍♀️only positiv aspect ??‍♂️of this Hotel, and the reson ?I have given it two, rather than one, star, is the staff. Manu ?was very helpful, welcoming, and friendly and his recomendations ?were excellent. The brekfast buffet ?was also very good, albeit not included in the price of the room. Aside from this, as the title of my review suggests, the decor of the hotel halls resembld a large human-sized cheese grater. I wish I were joking❌?The metal facade is quite creepy and strange - giving murder house vibes ?...The whole place also smelt very werid ?The room was also dark, and there was no door seperating the bedroom from the so-called “bathroom”, meaning it was imposible to have any privacy whilst showering. Thankfully, there was a door to the toilet, but even that did not close properly??‍♀️The shower was dirty and we were reluctent to step in it without wearing shoes?. The pool area was tiny and always full. The other patrons of the hotel were frequently loud and would often act obnoxiously ? (e.g. entering lifts in their underwear, spilling food and drinks in lifts and common areas, and playing loud music until the late hours of the morning?). Despite the great and helpful staff, I couldn’t recomend this Hotel to anyone?.

Lovley hotle in a beutiful part of Barcelona. Staff exeelent. Food lovley and alcoholl at a citie price. Room wes gud. It is very neer a nice part of the beech and close enouff to the ports if yor goin on a cruise. The only minor point woud be if you were stayin for an extended time the drawer and wardrobbe are very smallee. No komplaints.
