We recently stayed at the Monument Hotel and had a lovely time. The location was ideal, situated in the heart of the city with plenty of restaurants and shops in the vicinity. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by the wonderful staff and the alluring fragrance. We received great customer service from the personnel - our query about the hot water in the shower was swiftly addressed. Our room was beautiful and well-equipped with a living room and powder bath, a private patio, a relaxing bedroom with lush bedding and an extravagant bathroom with a tub, shower and Diptyque products. We also experienced the soothing spa services and our therapist was very professional. To top it off, the mini-bar was fully stocked with a wonderful selection of complimentary items and coffee/tea. The Monument Hotel was an overall fabulous experience!

We stumbled upon the Monument Hotel through the AMEX fine hotels website and we could not have been more thrilled! We had initially booked a different hotel just a few blocks away, but it was so substandard that we left immediately, and luckily at the last minute found the Monument. We ended up staying for three nights and truly couldn't be more pleased! The quality of service and amenities is absolutely amazing - they do not fail to meet five-star expectations. The location is ideal; you're right in the heart of the culture and luxury shopping area, with all of the main attractions and sights just minutes away. What I liked the most is that it didn't feel touristy! The photos of the hotel were nice, but they really don't do it justice. I highly recommend the Monument Hotel for its extraordinary quality and amazing location.
The Monument Hotel was absolutely great - the room was comfortable and the staff were incredibly accommodating. The views from the rooftop terrace made for a great start to each morning, and the selection of food was both delicious and plentiful. The diptyque toiletries in the bathroom added an extra touch of luxury, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff were very helpful and professional and the proximity to the metro station, Casa Batlo and Casa Mila made exploring the city a breeze. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the Monument Hotel.
What a spectacular experience! Decor, immaculately kept rooms, breathtaking view and staff were just over the top!! The breakfast was a real treat, the terrace bar was the perfect place to cap off a day of sightseeing and shopping, with a gorgeous view of the city. thank you again and again!! We will be back for sure!!!
