We had recently the opportunity to stay for a couple of days in the NH Collection Barcelona Gran Hotel Calderon. Our suite with terrace was absolutely stunning, the bed was huge and we could contemplate the city including the impressive Gaudi buildings. The two bathrooms, a comfortable lounge and the terrace made the experience even more enjoyable. We already booked the same suite for March, this time to visit the city with the kids.
The stay at NH Collection Barcelona Gran Hotel Calderon was wonderful! From the convenient location to the friendly staff and delicious food, everything was top notch. The views from the rooftop bar were amazing and the room was comfortable with a great bed. Plus, I appreciated the vouchers for free drinks for opting out of room service which I usually do anyway. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I have no complaints. Highly recommend this hotel!
I had the pleasure of staying at NH Collection Barcelona Gran Hotel Calderon during my recent holiday to Barcelona and it did not disappoint. The superb 5 star accommodation was perfectly situated close to top attractions, eateries, shopping, and bars and it was also just a stone's throw away from Gaudi's iconic architecture. The highlight of my stay, however, was its spectacular rooftop bar - with its tranquil ambiance and 360 view of Barcelona, it was by far the best place to spend my evenings. The staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful and they made sure my stay was a memorable one. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona and I would certainly stay here again on my next visit.
The stay at NH Collection Barcelona Gran Hotel Calderon was certainly a disappointment. We had high expectations but they weren't met. The room was not like in the pictures; it was not properly cleaned, smelled weird and the equipment was not in good condition. Dogs were barking all night in the rooms of other guests and the bathroom was not functioning well. We couldn't lock the balcony door, which made us worried about theft. All in all, a highly unsatisfying experience.
The NH Collection Barcelona Gran Hotel Calderon was a fantastic stay. The room was very large and comfortable, with a double bed and a cozy sitting area. The bathroom was huge and was supplied with high quality linens and all the amenities one could need. The desk was good for working and there was bottled water provided. The view from the large windows was stunning, giving us a great view of the city. The elevator to the lobby was very close, and the roof bar and pool were a true highlight of our stay. The breakfast was top notch with a good variety of food. Most importantly, the location was so convenient; it was in the heart of the city and allowed us to explore all the attractions with ease.
